It's gotten terrible reviews, and it's multiplayer only. It was described as a generic space shooter skinned with Star Trek licensed graphics. I'd try the demo before purchasing. It's a shame there hasn't been a decent Star Trek videogame in a long time.

There is no such thing as the "best" ST game anywhere. Games made off IPs like movies tend to just suck. (Star Wars is the only exception to this, but only by a bit) I don't know why, but this seems to be true in general. Pretty much every Star Trek game I've played is terrible. Star Trek Online included. And yeah, I've given up looking...
