Mollie Sugden (86) - best known in the States as  Mrs. Slocombe from the Britcom 'Are You Being Served' passed on to her reward today.  She brought so much laughter and happiness into our lives with her bawdy double entendres, and blue hair.  God rest our Mollie's soul!

Ah yes and her multicolored roots...  She was really something, and I believe she played Mrs Noah in another comedy based in space if I am correct.

Are You Being Served was a great Britcom! She lived to a decent age! May she rest in peace!

I remember when it was on PBS at 11pm.  English humor is a riot.  She was gifted actress.

I watched all those as a kid growing up. Needless to say most of the humour went straight over my head.

Another sad loss.
