I found this pretty amazing spider on my rose bush tonight. My mom held the blossom while I snapped the pictures. What do you think?

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! (I don't like spiders!)
Rick, are you using diopters or a macro lens?
a macro lens. But it's borrowed. I'm bidding right now on the 3 ring system by Kenko. It's about a quarter of the cost and it's supposed to work the same way.

You are like ob-SESSED. How many times did you see The Incredible Shrinking Man or The Fly?
some would say obesessed, others would say curious and creative. :) I just love taking pictures of the world we don't usually see. :)
Even though I hate spiders, it's still a cool looking spider.

Do you know if you get the same depth of field? I've only seen them I've never had a chance to use them.
well, we will see. As soon as I save up enough, I'll order them.
Icky!! Squish it!! I hope you checked to be sure it wasn't poisonous before you had your mom hold it!!
He's a handsome little guy. Hey little buddy 'cmon, you can come and live in our garden. Take care of those pesky aphids! :spidey
Good photos.
I got all excited I thought you meant this Yellow and Red Spider :spidey

Look at his beady little eyes.....
You know now of course that loads os spiders are gonna be waiting for you, ready with their own camera ha ha
yes, I'm sure. Don't they use "webomatics?"
Well they certainly produce plenty of SHUTTERS, ooops I guess that would be Shudders....
I was going to come up with another spider/camera joke but I CANON think of any. :biggrin
Shoot! Neither can eye.
:)
Eye yi yie!
You are the Teacher I am the PUPIL...
These jokes are out of sight. Iris they would stop.
There jokes are getting cornea in every post ;-)
I don't know why people are so negative about camera jokes, maybe it is the over-exposure....
Good one Hawkeye, I never saw that one coming. You Blindsided me!
Focus people, focus!
I'm going to have nightmares from this thread!
imagine how Miss Muffet felt.
Its all a 'flash' in the pan Rico, though this joke maybe a bit over exposed now. ;-)
I don't know I kind of like how this thread has "developed"
Some of these jokes are leaving a bad film in my mouth, and a little light headed...
But we are on a roll, these jokes come easily if you are in the right frame of mind. :biggrin
And have you noticed how this dark room has been enlarged?
I think this thread may get filtered by the end of the day.
Yeah, Rico or Kenny may put a lens cap on it.
Or lock us up in a padded zoom. That could be developing soon, I dont think their humor lense itself to our punultimate style of humor.
Though I have yet to be pinned to the matte by any complains from other viewers. Are there any twelve step programs for Photoshopaholics? I looked in the paper but maybe I glossed over them...
