Title: Anyone using that new hulu desktop app?
Post by: alanp on June 11, 2009, 09:41:12 AM
I have the mac version of it and what's really nice about it is the program makes use of the mac remote.  The program really makes it feel like watching TV on the computer.

I like it.
Been looking for an alternative to cable or satellite TV.
So far I've found a patchwork of alternatives but no inclusive solution.

I installed it and use it in Front Row on a Mac. :)

Sorry, that would be a good trick :ohwell
I use it in addition to Front Row

As a mac user, you might be interested in an open source Quicktime component  called Perian.
It allows Quicktime to playback almost any audio or video format (no more "unknown file format" errors)

I think the best hack would be to make the menu button on the remote launch hulu.
