Looks like it's official.

Good news is that it seems that Ridley Scott is at least tenuously connected to the project.  Sort of.

I'm not totally against a prequel, at least they are not re-making the original movie.

I'd watch it! I wish Segorney Weaver could be apart of it, but she probably won't since it's a prequel.
