Title: All Good Things...
Post by: globeTrekker on May 07, 2009, 08:37:21 PM
The final TNG will air on SciFi channel tonight ... a perfect ending, and I'll no doubt be all teary eyed once again at the end. Tomorrow everything changes and Star Trek will become "cool" ... I still haven't figured out how I feel about that.

Star trek was always cool. I don't need someone's opinion of cool for me to decide what is cool or not. I'm glad that the franchise is getting new fans, but I didn't listen to labels a month ago and I won't be listening to them a month from now.

Yep - Trek has always been way cool for me too.  Now, just some other people may realize that as well.

Oh yup, have to agree Trek has always been cool and after seeing all the smiling happy faces in the  cinema last night, and the nods and winks when old trek was referenced i sat there thinking its still cool, its always been cool and you know what its even cooler. :)

Definitely one of the best series finale.  The ending scene with the poker game was just perfect.

I believe it was a nice ending to the series.  I was also a fan of the DS9 ending, brought a tear to my eyes with the crew splitting up.  Anything really beats the enterprise finale... I was really disappointed with it being in the enterprise holodeck.  Voyager was interesting, but felt like a sudden jolt of "home! **cut to credits**."
