Not really. However...May 19th, 2009 is the 10th anniversary of he release of episode 1 and that IS an official thing.

But aside form that....happy Star Wars day!

Well here in Los Angeles..

Los Angeles City Council declared May 25th 2007 as Star Wars Day, in honor of the May 25, 1977 release date of the first Star Wars movie.

That's what I thought it might be...although we are 21 days early let the party begin. I love Star Wars. Star Trek appeals to my rational side while Star Wars is like a passion. :)
