Mom just brought these out of storage. Pics of her winning her age group of W-45-49 at the Ironman World Championship of 1989. Also a pic of me crossing the same finish line 18 year later in 2007....although I was only 28th in the world in my age group, 178th overall! She is my hero. :wub

It's been so long since I've hit the track or the weight room, I doubt that I could even complete an iron-man competition. At least, not unless I spread it out over a week or so. :D

The first step is always the hardest, my man! I wish 28th in the world! I was 28th in men 35-39 whereas Mom was numero uno! It's much more competetive now and you have to qualify to race vs. my Mom's day when you could just sign up, but she was amazing.
Yeah; you're right. I've made a decision: After work tomorrow, I'm going to pick up some x-trainers and start getting back into shape. I'm getting too old to keep putting it off.
