So we have had some major flooding going on. It rained three inches yesterday. Things are getting a little better today, but wow, all that snow melted at the same time the rain came.
check out these pictures from a guy only about ten miles from us.
Wow that's a lot of water. Hope you, your family and your property are all OK Rick.
we are fine, we are on higher ground. Some of my friends had to evacuate. What crazy weather this last year. I think I actually see some sunshine now.
I'm glad you guys are all right. It would be awful if you had to go through what you did last year again.
oh I know. Yikes! Our roof held up just perfect last night. We had gusts of wind up to 80 mph. pretty crazy! We only lost power for an hour. That isn't bad!
WOW! I hope all is well and the weather calms a bit. We have gotten the "pineapple express" here on the east side of the state as well but not near the amount of rain as you all have. I am glad to see the snow and ice melting here but the roads are a mess and the kids really, REALLY need to go back to school.
Wow, I though you guys were supposed to have the good weather in your part of Washington...yeah, it rains everyday but does it usually flood?!
I'm glad you all are safe!
we get a little flooding each year, but this is way worse because of the snow melt and rainfall.
It is still raining even though they predicted some sunshine!
Go figure!
I've got our pellet stove cranked and we are warm and dry. They canceled school for Andrew at the College today. The instructor couldn't get to the college cause the roads were closed.
I can speak for the middle of Washington and it's really windy, rained this morning, now it's sunny and all the snow has melted. Maybe some of this sun will make it's way over to you Rick.
Where are you at Sheppard? I didn't realize "the Basin" was represented here on the board?
We've had a couple of our main roads closed due to flooding and mudslides. It's really a hassle to drive five miles out of the way to get somewhere.
The pictures remind of some my brother took a few years ago in the village where he lives (just outside Oxford). The difference there was that the car was parked IN the flood rather than in front of it.
I'm glad you're okay, Rick. I hope the weather will clear up soon in your part of Washington.
Wow, you have certainly been getting all types of extreme waether Rick, hopefully things will turn around

I'm in the Tri-Cities for college and go back to Colfax for the holidays. Still snow there I think, was a week ago anyway.
