Alas no, I live 120 miles away from London so not easy for me to get there, plus I'm recording all weekend so am pretty busy. Am keeping an eye out to see if he heads up to the Midlands, Nottingham is easier to get to than London as they have a store there as well.
120 miles?! Med's, out here in the Southwest United States that's considered next door! You haven't seen big and until you come out here! :)
WOW! I just checked. England alone has about 50,000 square miles, Arizona has 114,000!!!!!!

Yes, but you don't have the Grand Canyon, the Painted Desert, the Petrified Forest, the sand dunes of Yuma, and 12,000+ foot mountains. AZ rules!!!!! ;)
...and now I have hijaked Meds thread! Muwahhhhhh!!!!!! :innocent
Hey hey... let's not turn this thread into a "who's state is better" thread.. because you know California is the best... :)

OK you got me there but at least we get enough rainfall annually to actually have grass for yards and that makes me a living 10 out of 12 months of the year! LOL
Kevin
Okay this has gone way off topic so I created a thread for it. So now you can debate who lives in a better place :)
Or just tell us where you live and how much you love it.
Rat's, it was more fun hijaking Med's thread!
Rain? What's that? Grass? Never heard of it.. ;)
I live in Plymouth, Massachusetts, just a few miles from Plymouth Rock, the Mayflower (II) and Plimoth Plantation.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Texas, our Texas. Where it's hotter than heck, and in the fall the leaves turn magnificent shades of brown. :P
Now don't go ta bragg'n Ktrek... ;)
Nope, Texas doesn't have the Grand Canyon...that's huge-ongo and very beautiful! One day I hope to see it for myself. :) We do have a variety of landscapes in our state: deserts, swamps, brush country (where I grew up), forests, plains, the gulf coast and the Texas Hill Country (where Dave and I live now). Check the links for photos... I wish I could find better quality images—guess I'll have to take them myself. :)

Out? What's "out?" Is that where the big, bright yellow thing is with the weird green carpet? :P
Nice sites there Jen! They do show the variety that's available. My favorite part of the state is where you live Jen. I just love the hill country.
Kevin
Texas is nice.. but can you go surfing at the beautiful beaches (temp mid 70's) and then two hour later go snow skiiing up in the mountains?? (temp mid 30's) ;D
You all know I live in Michigan and grew up in Detroit and still work "down in the hood." Now - beat that! :joker
P.S. Oh, I did live in California for a few years too.

Gee - I thought I mentioned this a few times over the years on the podcast or here. I lived in Huntington Beach for about 3 years growing up. It's where I began to love the ocean. My dream home would be on an ocean beach - somewhere.
Ah thank you Bryan you old Charmer for sneaking off with my thread ;)
Ok well i live in Bromsgrove in Worcestershire which is a very nice market town, I'm surrounded by the countryside and i have a golf course on my doorstep (I don't play but the bar is OK). Bromsgrove is about 5 miles square. I was born in Solihull and brought up in Birmingham in the West Midlands and thats in the center of England and i played in the grounds of Sarehole Mill where Tolkien came up with the shire.
I might not live there anymore, but Texas is still Numero Uno. Especially Austin- a beautiful place with all the benefits of a large city, and the heart and soul of a small town. Currently living in Louisville, which is pretty to look at (there are actual seasons here!), but still doesn't feel like home. It's kinda the opposite of Austin: The heart and soul of a big city, but with none of the amenities.
I grew up in kentucky, lived in Italy and Japan as a US Navy member, and now live in Orlando, Florida.
I live in London, England... which beats you lot hands down :P

All i'll say is congestion charge. ;)
I live in Kent, Washington. Which 15 miles south of Seattle (The Emerald City). Temperatures are mild and it rains a lot. There are lots of beaches, forests and lakes. A truly beautiful state.
I was born in Montreal, Quebec. Greatest city on earth, lived there for 25 years. It has the best aspects of North American and European cities combined. Also a ton of history as it is one of the oldest cities in North America.
Now I live in Toronto, Ontario. Currently the biggest city in Canada. I'm a city boy so I love it, but my heart will always be in Montreal. Also, it doesn't snow nearly enough in Toronto.
Sounds great M-5 and Joe your place sounds ideal. I'm a city boy myself, being a Brummie (Birmingham) lad i do miss the crazyness of the city but after a hard days work i like nothing getting better than home to a small market town.

I don't pay congestion charge as I use public transport (or walk) :P
(and no, I don't get out that much; I spend a large portion of my time in small black box)
Ok here are some photo's of where i live. The first is the duck pond where i walk our dogs, the other three are up the Clent Hills which is less than 5 miles away and we like to walk there as well.
Beautiful! I'd love to visit. :)
Always welcome Jen if you and Dave ever get the chance to head to Blighty.
Wow! I live in San Diego where, despite popular belief, we do have four seasons, just like everybody else. They just have different names:
Fire
Flood
Earthquake
Drought

this has been in the pipeline for a good 8 years because i got offered the chance to invest in the filming. If you invested you got the chance to be in the film and be credited. Glad to see it's up and running. Oh and hail Cary Grant i based my character voice (the Ranulph character) on him.
Meds, that's beautiful! Looks like the North Island of New Zealand!
Thanks mate. UK is a great place, well when the sun is out.
I'm in Mexico City now. Wish I could live on the beach, tho.
