I was totally expecting it to be so with that title. I did still enjoy the film as a mystery, crime, true story. It was 2 1/2 hours but not dull for a second. Anyone seen it?
I was expecting either something like Odo or the George C. Scott movie of the same title. I really have no idea why it was given this name.
From the tag line ("to find her son she must do what no one else dares") I never got the impression it was either genre. Plus the trailer had them in 1920s-esque clothes ;-)
Yeah, I didn't see any of the promotional materials for the movie. Changeling congers up images like aliens, ghosts etc.
FYI: It was written by J. Michael Straczynski, creator of Babylon 5 and long-time writer of Amazing Spider-Man.

You went to a movie based on a title only and didn't know anything about it????
Yep. It was Friday night and we ate out and it was late and my cousins wanted to watch something. Not much looked good but we thought it had to be scifi or horror.
