There is a special podcast treat up for this weekend. I took a break this weekend and turned the show over to the capable hands of Rick Moyer and his family. They did the whole show this weekend and I know you all are going to love hearing it. Thanks very much Rick to you and your family for doing this and all the effort you put into it! You rock! :metallica:

Just finished. Rick and family, amazing job!
I have to agree 100% with everything said. Rico you do a great job for us week after week.
Good stuff!
I love the fact that Amy suggests (on air) that you might need a bigger house because of the podcast. Scary!
Sam loved hearing Bob and Gebular again too.
I also put my vote behind everything said. It's fun that Treks in Sci-Fi, the Trek-centric fan-cast now gets its own fan-cast. A fan-cast fan-cast!
Thanks so much Rico for letting us do the show. The family had a great time!
If anyone wants the CD, just PM me your address, otherwise the whole thing will come out in a month for download...
for those of you that want the Klingon song...

We Worf you a Merry Christmas
lyrics by Rick & Nathan Moyer
Background Klingons and fighters, Preston Ward, Andrew Moyer, Nathan Moyer, Amy Moyer and Rick Moyer
We Worf you a Merry Christmas
We Worf you a Merry Christmas
We Worf you a Merry Christmas and a Qapla' new year!
Oh bring us some Rokeg blood pie
Oh bring us some Rokeg blood pie
Oh bring us some Rokeg blood pie and a side of fresh quagh
We'll all go before the council
We'll all go before the council
We'll all go before the council and petition the chancellor.
Oh bring us the sword of Kahless
Oh bring us the sword of Kahless
Oh bring us the sward of Kahless and a Klingon dagger.
We won't go till we get vengeance
We won't go till we get vengeance
We won't go till we get vengeance and our blood oath is done
A Batleth we bring to you and your house
A Batleth with blood wine and Qapla' new year!
We Worf you a Merry Christmas
We Worf you a Merry Christmas
We Worf you a Merry Christmas and a Qapla' new year!
Oh and here are the lyrics to
Have yourself a hairy little creature.
Have yourself a Hairy Little Creature
Have yourself a hairy little creature
let your Tribbles mate
From now on that purr will make you feel real great.
Have yourself a hairty little creature
There's no eyes nor ears
Tribbles keep on giving all throughout the years
Here they are just a ball of fur, not him or her, just it.
Klingons hate, but they are great
A must have on my Christmas list
Through the years they multiply together
as the quadrotriticale allows
Hang you Tribble on the highest Star base Somehow
and have yourself a hairy little creature now
Here they are just a ball of fur, not him or her, just it.
Klingons hate, but they are great
A must have on my Christmas list
Through the years they multiply together
as the quadrotriticale allows
Hang you Tribble on the highest Star base somehow
and have yourself a hairy little creature now
Everyone did great on the show Rick! Loved listening to the old songs and new ones too! Thanks again to everyone that helped out on this!
Great Job to Rick and Family, fantastic. Looking forward to the CD
Thanks guys, all the above, your CD is in the mail, sent out on Friday.
Great job, Rick and family! Listening right now. 8)
Just finished listening (I always like to listen to treksinscifi podcast on a Monday at work) so funny. Rick you and your family are sooooo cool. Brilliant show you all did an amazing job. Can't wait for some Christmas Trek tunes.
Awesome job Rick. I loved hearing from everyone...sounds like you need to set up shop in the crawlspace!
;)
It was really great hearing how the whole family gets involved with the thing. As a married geek, I'm always interested on how other people's families handle that part of their loved one's personality. My wife tends to look at that part of my personality as live-in tech support. :-)
A nice twist on the podcast. Good job, Moyers. If variety be the spice of life, then I just had a jalepno. ;D
What's really cool is that the fancast exemplifies the community aspect of the program. Treks In Sci Fi is more than a podcast, it's a community (how many more times can I say the same thing?). Way to go!
Late with my comments here, but to pile on....great job Rick, loved hearing the family get involved. I really enjoyed the show, it helped get me thru a workday.
