thought it would be neat to see what add-ons and plug-ins people are using with Firefox.

FireFTP cross-platform FTP client for Mozilla Firefox
Forecastfox Enhanced weather plugin shows temp and radar
Foxmarks syncs and backs up your bookmarks and passwords across multiple computers
Inline Google Definitions Shows Google Definitions for the selected word (in the same tab!)
myibay eBay bid sniper
StumbleUpon load a random webpage based on your likes
Woot watcher displays woot of the day and the price, helpfull with woot-offs (today 500gb sata HDD $55 with shipping)
Download Helper (for grabbing Youtube and other video clips) and Web Mail Notifier to monitor and manage multiple email accounts. Cool Iris (makes viewing online images sort of 3-D) and Download Status Bar to monitor downloads. I use FireFTP too sometimes, but mainly I use Filezilla for FTP stuff.
Foxclocks (friends all over the world, makes it easier to catch them at the right time)

I did have ScribeFire plug in but after the recent update it started freezing on me too much and I got fed up with it.
Rico - there's a programme called 'POP Peeper' that you can use to check all your various e-mail accounts from your desktop (a little notice pops up or you give it a sound)
I'll check out POP Peeper but I was trying to avoid running another program - especially since I have Firefox open all day anyway.
Mine are a bit more esoteric.
Firebug - javascript error console, tracks and reports ajax calls, etc etc etc
FlagFox - Displays a flag depicting the location of each server
Fusebox 5 Reload - Reloads the current Fusebox application via right-click or tools menu
MeausreIt - Draw out a ruler to get the pixel width and height of any elements on a webpage
Web Developer - Adds a menu and a toolbar with various web developer tools
