Ok, I know we are a tad bit early, but I have been working on a very special project just in time for the Holiday season!
I need your help. I have something that I want send to you and your family. Being that we are on line and it can appear rather creepy when people ask for your address, I wanted to let people know that there will be a digital download of this project, but it won't be until much closer to Christmas. You can get your project earlier so you and your geeky family can enjoy the holidays in a special sci fi way. My goal is to get your surprise shipped out by Thanksgiving (here in the States)
So if you would like a "hard copy" of your surprise, for which, at the moment, will remain nameless... it will be a fun surprise, please PM me your mailing address and I will go about getting the packages ready to send out in a few weeks.
I guarantee that every one of you will have a very big smile on your face as you enjoy this! So I will leave it up to you if you want to send me your mailing addy. just pm moyer777.
Happy almost holidays.
It just occured to me that if you frequent as a guest and don't have the ability to PM, you can email me moyer777@comcast.net
woo hoo!

Rick, are you taking international addresses or do I need to move to the US?
sure! I don't know how much it costs to go international, but it's worth a shot, send me your address!
Rick, i'm more than happy to re-inburse you the costs of postage so just let me know via email/PM

Ditto here.
Same for Canada.
A real quick update on this.
If you want a hard copy with the cover and all, simply Private Message me and I will get it out in the mail.
Did you like We Worf you a Merry Christmas?
I was lucky to hear the Worf you a Merry Christmas as a sneak preview (hee hee) and i loved it. Great work Rick, looking forward to hearing more.
Looking forward to it!
I love the cover but I'm trying to work out if I should recognise the picture.
(At least it's not a nebula image that awakens repressed memories of a falling child in me...so that's a good thing!)
It's an actual photo from the Hubble Telescope. It is a Nebula... :) You should get yours soon Mike. Complete with candy corn.
I just got mine in the mail Rick. Dave and I popped it into the CD player right away. I LOVED IT! THANK YOU!!!!! Dave said it made him want to make a fire in the fireplace and that you should sell your music. :)
I Worf You A Merry Christmas is my FAVORITE!!!!
:D
Thank you!
you are welcome. I made sure to wave my hand over the pile of finished CD's and say...
"you will be popped in to player right away" in a Ben Kenobi accent.
:)
I am glad you liked it. Here comes Enterprise rates up there on the top for me, that and the Worf one. Of course Merry Trekmas (the trekmas song) is a classic sit by the glowing warp engine song. Then again I have always had a fondness for Pakleds.. and thus the Twelve days of Starfleet. :)
I am glad you both enjoyed it. Now play it many more times in a row! :leiaxmas
I'm headed to the post office this afternoon, I have eight more copies to send out... if you haven't pm'd me your mailing address, now is the time! I can drop it in the mail today!
And may all your Christmases be Trek!
:) :leiaxmas
It's a terrific CD Rick! I really love it. I haven't had time to listen to all of yet. It seems just a bit early for Christmas music to me. But the tracks I have heard are awesome! Like I told you before expect to hear a lot of this played on the podcast in December. Thanks so much for doing this. You are very talented and generous.
Oooooooooo i'm sooo looking forward to this CD. Geeky snowy goodness.
boldly go, boldly go, boldly go!

Thanks Rico. I loved doing it and I hope it brings many smiles as geeks everywhere trim their tree with halmark star trek ornaments while listening. :) I will have a digital copy up in December so people can give it to thier friends too. Oh, and I took your suggestion, or was it Kenny's? I put a donation paypal button on the parody site to help recoop costs. The project wasn't too much, it's the postage that costs a bit, but that is not what I did it for. The CD's are inexpensive, the labels and covers aren't too much. It was a lot of time recording, but I love that! I did it to make geeky Star Trek folks like you and me entertained during the holidays! :)
Got my CD and both Harry and I listened to and from work.. It's FANTASTIC...
I'm glad you guys like it! :)
Anybody else get your Trekmas CD yet? They are all out in the mail!
Still waiting! Damn you customs and border services!
Not had mine yet, and i don't think Feathers has either. Damn over sea's shipping ha ha
Nothing here yet - it's still on a liberty ship somewhere in the Atlantic.
Well they should be arriving anytime! The England and UK stuff shipped out almost two weeks ago now. I mailed a bunch to the US last week too. I know Rico, Jen, Kenny and Sebastian got theirs. KC,Tim,Warren, Desi, Bryan and Kevin should get theirs anytime, as well as Sheppard, Vartock and Amar. I hope I didn't miss anyone! :)
Got mine today!!!! AWESOME, will be listening to it all week. Also I love the old comic book Rick! Where did you find it?! It's way cool. I will cherish this as much as I cherish you. :)
Rick,
My copy of Merry Trekmas arrived yesterday and my wife and I listened to it immediately! We both love it and found it quite amusing and entertaining. I'm not one who goes in much for Christmas or Christmas music but you have found a way to take some familiar and worn out melodies and do something fun and amusing with them. Thanks very much for your gift of the CD and the old Star Trek comic! You're the best!
Kevin
Cool! I'm glad you like it. I found those comics in the starwars shop in Aberdeen. There is a trek room in the back that I could spend hours in. I sit in there and think about what you guys would pick up if you were in there. :) The guy likes me so he gives me good deals. :) I like it because there are original comics and mags. It's like stepping back in trek history!
Still haven't gotten mine :( :( :(

Thanks to some of you very cool people and your generous help, I am doing a second run of cd's with Jean Luc spelled correctly. :)
It's here!
Opening now...
Edit: Very cool CD - laugh out loud funny in some places (though my wife think's we're both mad I think!). The 12 Days of Starfleet is a classic, especially with all the Pakled quotes thrown in, and Jean-Luc the Bald Head Captain just has to be listened to.
Thank you very, very much Rick. It's a great gift!

I am so glad you enjoy it Mike! I had a blast making it! I hope it makes the holidays more fun!
The CD arrived in my Mailbox today, looking forward to listening to it tomorrow. Thanks for all your work on it Rick, I share the sentiments of Bryan, you are the person I wish I could be.
Yes, I did get the CD! Some songs are so clever. You should send a copy to the Big Bang Theory show, this is made to order for those guys. I could see Sheldon singing The 12 days of Starfleet! See if you could find a email address to send to and see if you get a reply. Who knows they may put it on the show and that would be SO Cool! :metallica:
Thanks so much for sending it, did make me smile :leiaxmas
Rob
Super busy but I didn't want any more time to pass without saying how great this CD is! Rick you rule. There isn't one song on there that I don't enjoy.
You are a very talented and generous man.
Thanks for the amazing gift!
EDIT: I thought it looked kinda cool in iTunes, here you are!
and you rock. Thank you. How cool looking. It's kind of weird to see it that way! :)
I hope everyone really enjoys this project. It was kind of theraputic for me.
Thanks to everyone who inspired me to let loose with Trek lyrics and to let me be the dorky me that I am. It is kind of fun to feel safe risking geeky cornball stuff. :)
I've just been listening to the backing vocals to 'Jean-Luc the bald head...'. It's the kind of thing I do - trying to track the different harmonies etc - don't ask me why.
How many tracks (or digital equivalent) did you record to get all those layers in?
FWIW, I can't listen to the line '12 space time continuums' without laughing. It puts a kind of strain on the tune :D
Got mine yesterday Rick. Truly great stuff. Thank you very much indeed. It was in my Itunes library within 10 minutes and like Feathers, I reckon the missus thinks we're all mad. I made a little comment in my blog as well, I hope you managed to read it. Cheers buddy. Big love to ya.

hahahah.
Ok, on Jean Luc the Bald Head Captain--
1. The music track
2. Lead vocal
3. Duplicate lead vocal
4. First harmony
5. duplicate first harmony
6. second harmony
7. duplicate second harmony
8. "what he say?"
9. duplicate "what he say?"
10. In the galaxy
11. In the galaxy duplicate
12. in the galaxy second layer
13. in the galaxy duplicate second layer.
Phew! There you go. So 12 vocal tracks.
:)
And you do know that I purposely did the 12th line out of phase, since that is what happens in the space time continuum.
Right? :)

Great stuff Rick. I've quite a bit of fun listening to this stuff, I can't wait to hear what you do next. ;)

Here's an interesting thought - my kids just asked me why American's don't celebrate Christmas since they seem to celebrate Trekmas. :D
I had to point out that not all US citizens celebrate Trekmas...and I did mention that Christmas is big 'over there' too
Oh boy, nice witness for a Christian Pastor. :)
I sent you a real Christmas song... :)
Here is a non trek Christmas song.
Enjoy.

Oh I wish ;-)
Sadly though in the evenings I'm the primary console operator... I get to sit there with a headset listening to the DSM telling me when the cues are. On the plus side the console looks like something out of TOS, my headset isn't as cool though but I can still pretend I'm piloting a starship!
(I did yell "Fire Aft Phasers!" at the followspots the other night, only one of them got it though :()
Hey Everybody...
I was going to launch the Merry Trekmas site on Friday, but figured many of you would have fun sharing with relatives during the holiday. So, I put it up early. Happy Thanksgiving to my US buds, and Merry Christmas to everyone.
Make sure you check out the making of podcast, it's quite fun! I hope everyone enjoys the webpage and all the fun music.

Special thanks to Meds, Teapot and Ktrek for reviews, if you want to do one, I will update the critics page! just email me at moyer777@comcast.net
I've just been listening to the 'Making of...' podcast. You got even more references to things in the songs than I'd managed to pick up on (not that I'm an expert) so I learned something this evening. Not sure where I can apply the knowledge, but I'm sure it will be useful one day :)
A fun listen - even where you mention me :)
Thanks Feathers. :)
Listened to the CD this week, AWESOME. I loved every song, Rick, you are truly gifted.
Thanks Bryan!
Nathan did a new video for Youtube to promote Merry Trekmas.. hehehe
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RowN8US88so (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RowN8US88so)
Awesomeness!
That was great Rick and Nathan.. hope this brings in more downloads.
When Nathan started making their mouths move I lost it. Very funny! Then Wesley at the end topped it for me!
Yeah, Wesley makes it!
Great!
Ha ha brilliant.
My folks are over for a week for Chiristmas and I put on Merry Trekmas for my dad (who got me into Trek when I was but a wee lad) and he loved it, laughing and enjoying every track. At the end of Klaxon Bells he went "Aww...it's over?"
Once again, nicely done guys.
By popular request, I had to play the first two tracks to the children at breakfast this morning. I'm not convinced that my wife was that impressed...
(For some reason, in my mind I hear Robert Picardo singing the Voyager song - don't know why, but maybe there's an opportunity there somewhere?)
The Love Long and Prosper Podcast http://www.lovelongandprosper.com/podcast/ (http://www.lovelongandprosper.com/podcast/) did a Christmas special with the Merry Trekmas CD. Cool.
so did the canman podcast. http://thecanmanshow.com/?p=868 (http://thecanmanshow.com/?p=868)
