Thinking on this topic makes me realize how little of these sorts of shows I've seen. Seaquest passed me by and I don't remember much about any of the others either.

This podcast is going to fill a knowledge gap for me so I don't have anything helpful to contribute. Sorry!

Only watched a couple of those and didn't really care for it much so I left it off my list.  Would have welcomed comments sent in for this and any other shows but I only got the Moyers.

I like YOUR comments better than MY comments. That whole thing about hating my own voice unless it can be hidden in a group of people thing.

Hehe....  I just couldn't say much on "Invasion" since I only saw a tiny bit of it.

I too remember in high school (ok, I'm old) everyone trying to swim like The Man from Atlantis.  Some people I knew were really good at it, but I never could.

Obscure fact:  My dad was Patrick Duffy's high school english teacher!  (Cascade High School, Everett, WA)

I'll admit I'm pretty good at the "Atlantean" style stroke too.  And I even had a pair of yellow swim trunks during that time.  :)

oh my!  I liked swimming underwater for that very same reason!  I could do pretty well too, just not as fast as he could!  :)

I remember trying to swim like the Aquaman from The Super Friends cartoon when I was a little girl. :D
It's funny that others have done the same. I'm guessing that the Man From Atlantis swam the same way?

Am I the only one who can't help but think of Entourage when they hear Aquaman?

From the wiki:
QuoteEntourage is an Emmy Award-winning HBO original series created by Doug Ellin that chronicles the rise of Vincent Chase — a young A-list movie star — and his childhood friends from Queens, New York City as they navigate the unfamiliar terrain of Hollywood, California.

Basically in the show, the main character is cast in Aquaman (at least a ficitonal production thereof) directed by James Cameron and the movie is a huge deal in the first season of the show. Since I just blew through all 4 completed seasons of the show, Aquaman makes me think of it!

thank you for that clarification!  :)

I always wanted to be one of the wondertwins from superfriends.  Now they were cool...
