Ok, this isn't my list but I do agree with a few of the choices (especially #10). But I will say all of the movies on this list are worth seeing. Take a look...

Silent running was pretty sad. I was all pumped about showing my kids and they thought it was depressing. :) Well I liked it, and I own the DVD anyway! So there! :P
I loved the little robots. :r2d2 They had such a cool little waddle. :)

Not really a kids movie, but I like the message of the film.
I'm also a fan of Gattica, very interesting and well acted.
I loved Silent Running but I don't really know why.
I caught it one evening at home (years ago when living with my parents) and didn't know what it was until it came round again a couple of years later.
Great film but very sad. I loved the robots too :)
Wasn't it Huey, Dewey and Louie?
Yep - 3 of them. A guy on the Prop Forum has actually been making a drone from "Silent Running" from scratch at full 1:1 scale. I'll try and find his posts and grab a few pictures of where he is at with it.
I like Silent Running a lot! The only other two on the list I would agree with are Enemy Mine and Sleeper, although Sleeper is kind of questionable as sci-fi. I have always looked at it as a satire comedy. The rest of the films I could do without. I don't know why anyone would put the 1993 Invasion of the Body Snatchers on the list! Sheesh! :eekout
