It might be a bit dated, but I've always liked this Bond song...

Its a good song but (oh this sounds picky) its not an official Bond song. Never Say Never Again is the remake of Thunderball and not part of the canon. Still its a good song and i'd rather have that instead of the new one.
This is one of my top Bond Themes.

Yes - I know the complicated history behind the "Never say never again" film but it IS a Bond song. The character in the film was James Bond and it's the title song from the film --- therefore it's a Bond song. There are other Bond songs I might like better too, but this one from the film where Sean Connery came back to the role after saying he never would always kind of appealed to me in a unique way.
Well his wife came up with the title (check the credits at the end of the film) and he was paid 5 million dollars (this is 1983 bearing in mind) to come back so lets not kid ourselves why he came back, it wasn't for the love of playing Bond. Although I do love seeing Connery back in the role for this film. My point is that there is no barrel sequence at the begining, no classic Monty Norman theme tune and its not an EON production. I'm not saying its not a James Bond character film, I'm just saying its not an 'official' James Bond film. Don't make me take you for a drive and eject you out of the passenger seat Mr Rico.
Yeah - again I know all that Meds, but official or not I like the movie and song. In fact I like this movie better than several "official" Bond films. By the way, I have a good friend who works for MGM, who goes to the Bond premiere's etc. so I'm pretty in tune with the franchise too. ;)
Show off ;) ha ha. I do actually like this film (I love the domination game sequence especially as the computer voice is the same as the cylons in BSG) and its fa, far better than Octopussy which came out in the same year, and its better than View to a Kill and Moonraker.
I have al the Bond films on DVD and I've been hoping that because MGM now own Never say Never Again they would do it justice by making a Ultimate Edition and make it so it goes with the other films.
