Title: 2008/09 Chuck - Spoilers
Post by: moyer777 on October 07, 2008, 08:15:56 AM
So have you been watching Chuck?

The nerd herd!

:)

Buy More is simply hilarious, the management techniques are so funny.  I get such a kick out of the nerdy cast.

Man, this show is even better than last year.  What a cast, and so fun!  I laugh out loud frequently.  It is so good!

What do you folks think?

I like it too.  Last week's first season two episode was a lot of fun.  Really good.  I have to watch last night's show still.  Monday's nights just have too much cool TV.  Fun series!

One of the best "Chuck" scenes just shown in Monday's episode.  Love this show!

I've been watching Chuck on Hulu and last scene of this week's episode made me angry.  It was a good episode, but still... grrrrr...

Chuck was excellent this week!  They really know how to write on this show, it's funny, compassionate and makes you come back for more!

The scenes at Buy More were absolutely hilarious!  Oh my goodness!  And at the reunion when the camera panned up to the DJ I about lost it!  VERY FUNNY!

Man, you really want Chuck and Sarah to get together.. real bad!

tension!

Anybody else watching Chuck?

Another great reason to watch.  This is from last week's show when Sarah pretends to be a "Nerd Herd" employee.  Awesome!

Short, but so cool when she dressed as Slave Leia in season one.  Love her accent too!

Did anyone else find this last weeks episode of Chuck a little annoying and predictable. I had the ending predicted before the end of the Teaser. And there's the think about how much I didn't like seeing Chuck with his Ex. Every time the writers seemed to try and make a little drama by putting tension on the Chuck/Jill relationship I though "Who cares, he better off without her". And later in the episode I was just thinking "kill her, kill her", but I knew they wouldn't, I had it all worked out what was going to happen by that time.
I still enjoy the show it's just this one episode, think it should probably get better next week after this weeks ending should effectively change the whole situation I have an irritation with.

Yeah, I kind of agree.  Especially about the twist at the end.  Saw that one coming.  But the show is still a lot of fun.  And this helps a lot too.....    :wub

My wife called me a uber geek for recognizing the significance of the bomb in the Chuck 3D episode. Did anyone else laugh that the assignation bomb/device was model IG 88?

They covered a lot of ground in this finale.

I thought it would have been neat if...
Chuck: I know Kung Fu.
Casey: Show me
Well, "CHUCK" is coming back!  But with a little bit of a catch.

Never underestimate the power of a $5 footlong.

NBC has finalized a deal to bring Chuck back for a third season, multiple sources confirm.

That's the good news. Here's the bad news: The 13-episode pickup came after Warner Bros. agreed to make significant budget concessions, including scaling back the number of episodes several members of the show's stellar supporting cast will appear in and, per one insider, possibly eliminating one actor altogether (R.I.P. Anna Wu?). The show is also expected to cut two of its staff writers.

But back to the good news: Chuck lives on! Celebrate in the comments section!

For up-to-the-minute renewal-cancellation-pickup scuttlebutt throughout the weekend and into upfront week, stay close to both my blog (the one you're reading now!) and Twitter feed. And to track the status of your favorite bubble show, there's my Fall TV Cheat Sheet. Finally, for the official schedule announcements (beginning with Fox tomorrow) proceed to the Hollywood Insider blog.

Some cool casting news for "Chuck" for the next season:

It's a bird, it's a plane, it's the most awesome casting news ever: Erstwhile Superman Brandon Routh is joining Chuck for a multi-episode arc, sources confirm to me exclusively.

Who's he playing and what impact will it have on Chuck and Sarah? Keep reading and find out!

Routh's character, Shaw, is a mysterious new spy who takes control as the new leader of Operation Bartwoski, becoming a mentor to Chuck and a rival in his affections for Sarah. He first appears in this season's fourth episode.

Bottom line: Who better to teach Chuck how to use his powers that the Man of Steel himself?!

Memo to NBC: Please don't make us wait until March for Chuck! Anyone care to echo that sentiment? Head to the comments. And while you're down there, share your thoughts about Routh!
