Check it out!
(you can tell she's Vulcan - look at those ears!)
I always knew Sevryll was a drood!
Is that really Jen?!

No it's not me... Unless one of you made a character for me, or Angela and Jim did, then someone totally stole my character name. Anglea has said they were trying to come up with a way to get me to play... maybe she created it and is leveling it up for me to play with them? During the podcast episode we recorded tonight, she and her War Craft buddies were describing themselves as character races in the game. Because I don't play, they decided for me, describing me as a Night Elf. I'm guessing that's what is on the screen. I wonder if, after I went home, they got busy creating a character for me.... If they didn't do it, and I decided to play one day, I guess I'd have to use another name. :-[
No worries Jen - I was having a little fun and made a Night Elf and named her Sevryll. Probably won't play her much, and the name is just used on the Earthen Ring server. Mystery solved. ;)
Yes, we are on Shadowsong. But my husband did create a toon named Anomalysse, who is a Night Elf Druid. I said Jen should be a Night Elf Hunter. :)
Oh you crazy Aliiance kids...
Mirror universe Sevryll could be a blood elf.
:)

Oh - I like that idea. Maybe a rogue.
Hi-ya guys. I don't know how to ask this without sounding like a cry baby. But, I call dibs on my character names. :)
I know you didn't mean anything by it Rico, and you were just having fun. You said you don't play her much and it's on another server... Please don't take this comment the wrong way. I'm sort of partial to the name after almost two years of writing the character. I really identify with Sevryll. I use the name for Twitter, XBox Live, AIM and I use it as my profile name on a few other forums. She's sort of my alter ego. I think I would flip out if I found another Star Trek RPG using her profile and name... Not sure there would be anything I could do about it but it would still bother me. I know it sounds geeky/weird but I want to reserve the names of all my characters if it can be helped. I think it would be cool if we all did that with our characters...especially after Star Trek Online goes live. I'd hate to see someone we don't know running around playing "Captain Nathan Quinn". I know it sounds obsessive and dumb. Thanks for putting up with my cry baby request. :'(
"Jen go out and buy the online sensation that is World of Warcraft and join us!"
P.S. In a way I was "reserving" the name for you on the server I play on. I can easily delete the character but once I do the name is up for grabs again for ANYONE to use.
Yup, reserving names is normal. For some reason I really like the name "Rasht" for WoW toons so I have some level 1 gnomes on a few servers just waiting to be deleted so can use the name for real.
Oh, I don't know about WoW. Angela may talk me into it, just for an Anomaly vidcast of my first MMO experience, but other than that this particular universe doesn't pull at me like KOTOR or STO. Don't delete Sevryll, Rico... you can use it. Just wanted folks to know I'm not keen on the idea of a bunch of characters named Sevryll running around WoW. :D
I have to agree with Jen. Since I wrote Isaac Starstriker, on my MMO, my character is named Isaac Starstriker and I'm really partial to the name. :) So I get touchy when ppl use it. hehe

Jen and I have discussed this and she said she is cool with it. Again, it was just for fun.
