ooooooooo thats nice. I've only got the one, Where did you get the holders? did you make them?
The holders are custom made. They did a group of them over on the Rebel Scum forum.
Hmmm, i can make something like that in the factory. Will have to get at least another 3 though. Have you got two the same there? Its got a bit of brown on the hilt.
Those are both Luke's from Jedi - but they are not exactly the same. Master Replicas changed how they made them with every new group. One is LED lighted and brighter with better sound, etc.
The stands are just laser cut black acrylic plastic. But they work nicely.
Oh cool, I've got the New Hope Luke one, will have to find out what one it is.
Have you got any of the new Hasbro ones that are coming out, it would be a great idea to do a comparison show on the difference between MR and Hasbros
I don't think the Hasbro's will be any different, Iceman. I believe they are using the same design. Great display Rico! I love my Luke ANH.

None are out yet - as far as I know. But yes like Bryan said, MR sold off their FX technology to Hasbro so they should be quite similar.
I was hoping they might make some improvements, I guess we will have to wait and see
Honestly, I'm not sure how much better these can get at the price point they sell at. My Luke ANH was the last one MR made and the sound is great, the blade is much brighter than the Anakin I used to have, and the motion sensor works very well as does the contact sensor.
Hey, those are the sabers that Bob and Gebular saw!!
That is a cool Display Rico, looks great. Makes me wish I could sell my house so I can move so I can get a proper place to display.
Last week when I was at a Toy Show, I saw some of the new Force FX Hasbro Sabers, They were in there boxes, so I did not have a chance to see what they looked like.
Anyone know what the retail price will be for the Hasbro sabers
Around $120 canadian
Sabers, where?
Sorry...distracted by the fact that Rico has a picture of Dargo on the STAIRS!

An autographed picture of Dargo too! Those are the stairs to my basement secret lair. Not the main stairs in the house.

Ah, I assumed it was autographed.
OK, I thought these might be the main stairs. If these are in the lair I see how that fits in with everything else. Nice stands.
(Off topic...I start to be just a little jealous of the whole 'basement thing' you have going for you in the States. I'd love to have a basement, just for the extra space!)
Everything below ground level Lynn is ok with me having my fun. And I do actually have a couple select collectibles on the main floor too. But just a couple. Our house has actually three floors and I couldn't live without a basement anymore.
what collectibles are above ground?

A lightsaber, couple of Buffy items, and some Harry Potter wands. No particular reason for those specific items. Just kind of worked out that way. All on one shelf unit in the living room with some pictures and other stuff.
Looks like you're in the finals for the Kenobi Mighty Mug Rico!

Yeah - I saw that. Although I sent Scott the picture more as a fun way to show off my sabers than to really win. ;)
Funny thing about that contest. When it was announced I was thinking "Damn I wish had a cool star wars thing to pose next to." Today I turned my head to the left an noticed my Jeremy Bulloch autograph hanging on my "geek wall". I guess you get used to having things around so you don't notice them any more!

That sounds fun. I didn't think Lynn would let you put the big enterprise on the coffee table in the front room.
The cutout of Picard was quickly put standing in the corner at our house! With his back to us. :)
nice! That 4 foot wide portion of wall in my office is all I get. Well that and my bookshelf filled with Star Wars and other sci fi books. It's in the living room because we have nowhere else to put it. Damn apartment!
yeah, it would be nice to have more room. We just have way too much stuff as it is. That's why I haven't been much of a collector, that and it just costs a lot. But that's ok. I get to enjoy good pictures and live vicariously through you guys that do collect. :)
I'm lucky (if my house move still goes through) that I will have my own room to store my DVD's, comics etc etc, it will also be were all the consoles will be. ah geek heaven. ;)

Good luck Meds - being able to move is an acheievement in itself in the curent climate...getting a room for SciFi stuff *sigh* that's just unimaginable! (We'd need an extra room just to let the children have one each.)
Oh well I'm resigned to the fat if we have children I'll be demoted to the box room. Ha ha ;)
Of course if you move into the box room straight away, Meds, it will reduce the chances of you having children AND give you more room for your stuff ;)
Back on topic, the sabers make me think fondly of christmas. It must be something about the lighting effect of them.
That's funny, I felt the same.
Deck the Halls with lots of sabers, falla la la la la la la la
Tis the season to cut Luke's hand off, Falla la la la la la la la.
Don we know our Jedi Brown Robes, Falla la falla la la la la
Sing the ancient Ewok Carol, Fala la la la, la la la la.
Lovely second line, LOL.
Kind of counter-christmas sentiment though :)
