Some of you know the Extralife Podcast. I've guested a couple times on the show. One of the regulars on there who goes by the name Obsidian (or just "O" for short) proudly claims he has never watched "Star Trek." Well, Brian (another member of the podcast) put up a new website called "Geek Pressure" to try and convince him to watch the series. So a few of us podcasters have added our own little incentives and pictures to get him to watch. Check it all out at:
http://geekpressure.com/
P.S. Jen & Angela - Big suggestion: You two should take a little picture and create a saying and send it in. It would be great advertising for your show too! Maybe say something like girls watch trek too, or even better - Don't be an Anomaly - Watch Trek! I'm sure you can come up with a good saying and photo.
Send it to Brian at this email: brian@studiom80.com
Just tell him you know Rico and that you do a Geek Girl Podcast (make sure to give him your link). That should do it.
Yeah Jen & Angela, you guys should definitely getup there. O loves the ladies!
RESIST !! FOR PETE'S SAKE - RESIST !!
Resitance is (apparently) futile.
(Actually, I prefer the original - "Resistance is useless" - as shouted by the Vogon guard in the Hitch-Hikers Guide to the Galaxy. The BBC radio series, that is...not the book...or the LP...or the TV series...or the film.)
How can you be a geek and never watch Trek?

I'll probably get banned for this. Watching Trek is like any other show for me. Trek, Bones, I Love Lucy, Good Eats, MSU football - its all entertainment. I have my hits and misses just like everyone. That's why I don't into the RPG - something only for the most dedicated fan.

Yes, it's all entertainment - but there are always favorites. And actually Mark I think you watch more Trek reruns lately than I do. ;) Gotcha!

I use to listen to his show. :)
I may do this, thanks Rico. Anomaly just joined the "Star Wars Fanworks" network (with The Forcecast, Star Wars Action News and Yivvits And Mr. Bubble). We'll soon be listed with under "Star Wars And More" with the Indicast on the Star Wars Fanworks web site...no big thing, I just figured there should be yet another place to find Anomalies lurking among the boys. I talked to Nathan Butler, from SWAN and Chronoradio, for a while about doing this, but last week I finally decided Anomaly was ready. BTW, Nathan Butler will be playing Doctor Peterson in our audio drama. :)

Well that just goes without saying...
My hiddeous picture is up there, so if I can do it, anyone can!
I think O is just doing this for attention and to create drama - which is the basis of entertainment. But I'll play along... for now. :)
