Where is Bryan when you need him? Digg founder Kevin Rose has gotten a hold of some images and information on upcoming iPods and other Apple info. This is from a blog post he put up about a week ago....
Latest rumors:
- Revamp of entire iPod line.
- Small cosmetic changes to Touch, Nano to see significant redesign (see pic below).
- iPods to see fairly large price drops to distance itself from the $199 iPhone.
- iPod touch 2.1 software, iPhone to get update very soon after.
- iTunes 8.0 ("it's a big update w/new features").
- All of this coming in the next 2-3 weeks.
It all sounds pretty likely and interesting. Here's a photo of what the new Nano is suppose to look like:

looks like Apple is applying the slimline airbook design to it's new iPod - I like it!
I'm waiting to buy an iPod touch when it's storage capacity is increased.
My 3 year old iPod video is a great way to carry around movies, Star Trek episodes, lots of music and makes a handy massive external drive (160 gb)
Yeah my 2nd Gen iPod mini is starting to show it's age. That and I've dropped it about a hundred times. Still kickin' though!
Right now I'm really happy with my 80 gig classic and my first gen iphone. The only feature I really think it should get is wifi updating of the podcasts. That way I can be on vacation and get a wifi update of treks in scifi without a computer. Or does the touch already have that?
I sooooooooooooooooooo love my ipod, not going to change it yet as it runs great. This does look very cool.
I think the Ipod is one of the best inventions in the last 10 years and It is one of my most prized possessions. New one looks nice also.

I am in the same exact boat. It just keeps running....
I don't even own an Ipod. I do have an mp3 player though, which I really like, but I might consider buying one if the price was right.
Kevin
I think that Ipod in the picture looks dated.. I dont like it!
However I will attest for the coolness of IPod.. I carry mine ALL of the time, and I have every episode of TNG and VOY on my pod for easy access with plenty of room to spare for DS9 and Enterprise as well as TOS. Its cool that I can carry my entire music library as well!

Think I'll wait for the iPatch :D
I carry mine in my pocket everyday. I can see how the tapered profile would be a nice improvement
I love my iPod, but it cost almost as much as the iPhone- without all of the iPhone's cool features. :( >:(
I'll probably get an iPhone before I get a new iPod.
The ipod I own is a 30 gig video ipod. I got it as a gift in October and found Treks In Sci fi podcast shortly after. I really do need to get a bigger one, but not in the budget at this point. Someday!!!! Anyway all that to say I love my ipod. It is soo cool.
No iPod here - Pocket PC device and a media player that came pre-installed with a Treks-in-SciFi link (at the time). The good news is I've got WiFi podcast updates but the bad news is I've only got 2Gb of memory to play with. Not a lot for music, pictues and podcasts :(
New iPods look interesting but I don't want to chain myself to the PC for updates.
Here I am!! Mr. Apple! Yes, I did see that pic and there is definately a iPod and iMac revamp coming on the next month or so. I like the new Nano look in that pic. I also want an iPhone, but I will always need an iPod for running/biking with. The iPhone is too big and nice for that.
I don't have an Ipod, but I have a Creative Zen MP3 player. It works great! I use it to listen to all of podcasts. I really need a Ipod. Maybe if my MP3 player suddenly broke, my wife would buy me an Ipod. The new Nano looks like it would fit right into my left pocket.
