Did anybody download the demo for 360 or PS3 last night?
Nope. Didn't know it was out. I'll tell my son to try and grab it.
My good mate Ed has just downloaded it and he said it was awesome. Took him 15 mins to complete the demo and he is amazed at how good it is. Bring it on.
Time to buy a game console. Which do yall think is better; the 360 or the ps3?
Well i think the 360 is better, mine is the elite version. Of course if you want a blueray player then PS3 is ideal.
It seems that most folks prefer the 360 to the ps3.
How is the elite version different from the standard 360?
black, 120 gb HDD (instead of 20 gb), HDMI. it's worth the 100 bucks. if you want to but they 120GB drive it's 120 dollars by itself.
I just googled 360 elite. Looks pretty sharp. $500 sound like the average price on these?
This thing has x-box live capability, right? How does this work? do I hook the x box to my pc to go online?

My brother has forced me to join Xbox live. You just plug a ethernet cable up to it and sign up for the XBox Live trial version... I think it's good for a month. I need to renew my membership, but if you guys want to put me on your friend's list my Xbox name is fairly simple to remember: Sevryll

I havnt joined yet, i really must as my formentioned mate Ed is nagging me for a bit of a gaming challenge. Once i get up and running i'll look out for you Jen, and i shall challenge ye to a duel or two.
You should wait, as there will be a price drop coming very soon, if it hasnt happened already. Of course, it is only about 50 dollars, if that influences your decision. Also, all Xboxes have HDMI ports straight out of the box now. The elite is really not the way to go anymore, unless you plan on purchasing and downloading tons of movies/tv shows from the microsoft store, and then you will probably need the larger hard drive. Avoid the "arcade" system, which has no hard drive included, and go for the Pro, in my opinion.
The only problem with the 360 is they make you wait a week to download new demos if you are not an xbox live gold member. Fortunately for me I have a PS3 as well, and they have no such restrictions, so the Force Unleashed is downloading as I type this!
