Title: A New Lara Croft
Post by: Rico on August 20, 2008, 07:08:42 AM
A gymnast from Great Britain becomes the latest, "Tomb Raider."

The latest incarnation of Lara Croft is a former gymnast who has performed at a national level.

Alison Carroll, 23, from Croydon, follows in the footsteps of models like Nell McAndrew in the promotional role of the action heroine, as well as Angelina Jolie, who played the part in the film version of the Tomb Raider video game

Eh, I'm not feeling it.  I'm a much bigger fan of the previous one.  She....just doesn't fit.

She's just too young.

That's my opinion.

That's a bit odd to say actually.  The former Lara was played by Karima Adebibe starting in 2006, when she was 21.  The new Lara is 23.

Here's Karima...

Absolutely stunning and she moves just like Lara should, exquisite movement and she holds herself perfectly. But I do think she is just very slightly up her own behind.

She looks good and moves well.  Of course, I haven't seen a TR model that I didn't like.

They're both very attractive women... think I'd have to have both as I couldn't choose which one I thought was the more attractive!
