Title: Fan Groups
Post by: Geekyfanboy on August 11, 2008, 01:03:27 PM
I just read an article about Crazy Fan Groups

http://www.film.com/movies/story/the-five-most-rabid-fanbases/11597472/22494925

It made me think of the many crazy fan groups I associate myself with.

These are in no particular order.

- Ringers (Lord of the Ring)
- Trekkie (Star Trek)
- Potterhead (Harry Potter)
- Browncoat (Firefly/Serenity)
- Scooby Gang (Buffy/Angel)
- Whedonists (All things Joss Whedon)
- Losties (Lost)
- Whovians (Doctor Who)
- Star Warriors (Star Wars)

and I'm sure there are more but that is all I can think of of the moment.

So which fandoms do you call home??

He has fine taste your son Rick. I've got the brilliant MASH martini box set with all 11 seasons and the bonus disc ples the movie. The final episode "Goodbye, Farewell and Amen" is truley amazing, so emotional. Brilliant stuff. If ever Alan Alda is given the chance to be a Admiral in Trek that would make my dreams come true.
