I guess this will be my first post ever here....
A Microsoft XP Update has caused some issues with zonealarm users preventing them from accessing the internet. I had this problem this morning and did a system restore to solve the issue temporarily.

Zonealarm is currently working on the problem and offers some workarounds:

On-topic. Do people really use ZoneAlarm anymore? I assumed the windows firewall killed the software firewall industry.

I use Sygate Firewall in addition to XP. I figure you can never have enough protection. And Sygate works real well and has protected me from things have gotten past the XP firewall and it's FREE.
