Title: Underdog
Post by: Geekyfanboy on March 31, 2006, 11:06:21 AM
For those of you who remember this cartoon here is a bit of news I came across..

According to Variety , Peter Dinklage has signed on to play the bad guy in Walt Disney Pictures and Spyglass Entertainment's "Underdog." Live-action version of the popular kids cartoon starts shooting April 10 in Rhode Island under the helm of Frederik Du Chau.

I try not to prejudge, but "Underdog" should never be "live action."  It just isn't right.

I love the cartoon, but this movie looks like it'll be awful.

Yeah, everytime he get's in trouble he "fleas" or he is constantly getting the facts wrong, so he is "barking up the wrong tree."  Wasn't his home planet K-9?

I'm so sorry, I was just trying to "fetch" some more puns....

I'll go take a walk....

leash me alone.

;D

They released a new and I might say much better trailer for this movie. I actually think it looks pretty good. If you're into talking animal movies.. which I am. Check it out.

Only if I am really, REALLY bored and there is absolutely nothing better coming out.   I'm sure the kiddies will want to see it.     Ahhhh -- glad I'm single.

Yeah I would see this with my daughter.  I would have preferred an animated 3d model that looked/felt more like the original cartoon, but I think I could probably sit through this if she was enjoying it.  I'm a fan of Jason Lee, so thats a plus.
