This is a special show this week. It's mostly an interview with Charis and Ona of Australia who did the "Red Shirt" pics I posted about a few weeks ago. We talk for about 45 minutes. It was a lot of fun talking to them - loved their accents too! Enjoy the show!

P.S. I goofed up a little at the end of the show. I said next week I would be doing a Voyager episode since I hadn't done one in awhile. Well - duh - I just did one last weekend! So next week will be "TNG" I think.
Rico, Amy and I really enjoyed the interview! We listened on our way up to Olympia for dinner at Olive Garden. NICE!

Starfleet Uniforms- sung to the tune of Halleljuah
When I was a kid I watched this show
It was full of people that would boldly go
But not many people cared for science fiction
Their five year mission they went before
impulse, stand still and warp factor four
But I really really wanted their uniform
Starfleet Uniforms, Starfleet Uniforms, Starfleet Uniforms, uniforms...
On TOS, Gold, Blue and Red
But if you were an extra that meant you were dead
and the girls they all wore miniskirts in rare form
If you were Kirk and fighting the Gorn
Every week your shirt would be torn
But week after week we'd still come back for the uniforms
Starfleet Uniforms, Starfleet Uniforms, Starfleet Uniforms, uniforms...
Well in TNG they kept pulling them down
and in later years they enlarged their gowns
Deanna was asked by Captain Gelico to go norm
Remember Picard in Darmok they wrote
Introduced his cool away team coat
And somehow Warf's hair would grow with his uniform
Starfleet Uniforms, Starfleet Uniforms, Starfleet Uniforms, uniforms...
On Deep Space nine, not like the others
They fooled us all and flip flopped the colors
And aliens wore cool suits like our friend Morn
Sisko may have shaved his head
But ODO shifted his clothes instead
And Kira wore a tight red uniform
Starfleet Uniforms, Starfleet Uniforms, Starfleet Uniforms, uniforms...
That leaves us with just two to go
Voyager and Archer's show
Seven of Nine and T'pal in those cat suits they wore
Running around in their underwear cute
Always in there mathing blue jump suits
Every show had a slightly different uniform
Starfleet Uniform, Starfleet Uniform, Starfleet Uniform, Uniform

Nice! :)
All done. Great interview, I think you could tell the girls weren't sure what to expect at the beginning but they got comfortable pretty quick.
Rick this is by far the best song yet (or maybe it's just because I really like Halleljuah).
I'm good at charming my guests. Especially the ladies. ;)
"Ohhh...it's a lady..."
How did you get that picture of me podcasting? Have you been tapping into my web cam again?? ;)
Just don't let the ladies see the whip, that might scare them... :jawdrop
Hey if you Google Chonastock ... Rico is the second hit!

"I'm Googlicious"
google whack ha ha. Brilliant podcast Rico really enjoyed the interview, and wow i didn't know it was just the two of them i really thought it was three ladies. Fantastic photography, i have the three picture of them as my desk top. Rick another great song, hallelujah is a favorite song of mine so now i no longer sing the Jeff Buckley version but the Rick Moyer version.
Rico,
Great podcast and interview. The ladies sound very interesting and you conducted the interview very well despite all the Skype nosies and echos. Very impressive. You may have a "future" in this. Always a kick to hear of youger folks in far away lands digging the Trek and acting on it.
As for Mr Rick's Star Trek Uniforms tune. I can't seem to get it out of my head!!!. I caught myself singing the chorus about four time so far this morning. Rick you may have a hit there. Very catchy!!

Rico serving up some charm pie for the lovely ladies with a side of Billy Dee smooth!
Greta song as always Rick!
I popped some cool Colt 45 Malt liquor after the interview. :)
I found a video of Rico on YouTube:
Dang! You're on to me!

Hiya!
I can't remember when I last listened to an episode of treksf, but it was early on, and what I heard was... marginal. Well, like any open-minded individual, I decided to come try again and I was very pleasantly surprised. You've come a long way!! This time I think I am here to stay. :)
Thanks for all you do. It is appreciated. :thumbsup

Glad you gave it another go. I aim to always improve - and I aim to misbehave! ;)
That was a great podcast Rico. Listening to how they got into this was really interesting, and I am just like you in that I am amazed they took the pictures themselves.
Rick, a fantastic song, you really have a talent for making creative songs. You need to make a compilation at some point in time of all your songs :)
They inspired me and so I got a wireless remote for my new camera.... this should be fun!
Hi all,
I know I don't post much these days but I am still out here. As one of the longer time listeners and aussie I really enjoyed a show with a real home "flavour" to it for me. So nice to hear some aussie accents from some sexy women! :-) Sounded like they were in Queensland (I think that's where Mt Cootha is which they mentioned) which is around 900 miles north of me, but still closer than you lot...
They sound like a really interesting pair of ladies... and the interview was well done.. I'm amazed they had exams the next day and still chatted to Rico. cool stuff! :)
Rick - another great and fun song. You are so imaginitive and creative I always wonder what will come next and I am never disappointed!! I admire the time and effort you put into creating these things on our behalf.
cheers,
RichardMEL
Glad to hear from another native Aussie about the show. Happy you enjoyed it.
Haven't commented on this, but it was a great interview and yet again another great podcast Rico. I can't wait to find what you do next. :) :) :)
