Rico,
Thanks for including me! Feeling much better after my fix of geeky goodness but was not myself before the download. :hulk
Thanks for another great podcast!
Hope you feel better!

Great intro Rob. Really liked it. Thanks!!
Actually got to watch the episode BEFORE your commentary this time. Your show is on my to-listen-to list atm. Fell behind a little. :)

P.S. thanks for putting up in Sci-fi theater. :)
A little bit of trivia about Virginia Madsen (Kellin) in today's podcast. On IMDB it say's...
In an interview, she admitted that she was sobbing so hard at the end of Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan (1982) when Spock died, that she had to go home as soon as the movie was over.
So I'm guessing she is a bit of a Trek fan. Pretty cool!
Cool, going to listen to the new podcast today at work. Ah the luxury of a new Rico show bliss....

:)
Another great show Rico. Thanks again for all you do. I don't know what I'd do without my weekly fix of Geeky Goodness!!!
Hope you are feeling better soon.
Great podcast podcast Rico. I liked this episode of Voyager too, but also found a few parts of the story a bit convoluted. But still enjoyable and a good Voyager episodes.
I agree totally, Virginia Madsen, the actress who played Kellin, sounded ALOT like Jennifer Lien, the actress who played Kes. Both have deep, smoky-smooth voices. That started me thinking about the women of Star Trek. For the most part, they are all altos (contraltos). FYI, in singing, the alto voice has a range that is lower than a soprano (high female voice) but higher than a tenor (higher male voice).
I can only think of two characters who were sopranos in the Star Trek universe: maybe Nicole de Boer, who played Ezri Dax, and Chase Masterson who played Leeta. Jennifer Lien, Marina Sirtus, Majel Barrett, Gates McFadden, Jolene Blalock, Terry Farrell, Kate Mulgrew, Nana Visitor, Nichelle Nichols and Grace Lee Whitney are just a few that I would classify as alto's. I've heard it said that alto's have a more attractive, "seductive" voice...this would fit the whole space vixen idea that Star Trek is known for. Personally, I always wished my own voice was higher...but maybe low isn't such a bad thing. I could be a character on Star Trek, if they ever were looking for a podcasting, RPG playing wannabe voice actresses. :dry ;)
All I have to say is cough medicine Rico is awsome, the episode was fun to.
Glad you liked the show. Don't think I coughed much. At least not yet. ;)
Brilliant show mate, really enjoyed it. And yeah at first i was trying to remeber the episode and then i though oh its Kes, not till you said it was Virginia Madsen in thought man that is spooky. Great episode and great intro. Nicole De Boer, oh really liked her. She was great in The Cube.
Great podcast, Rico. :) I don't remember seeing this Voyager episode, and so I thought that the female character was Kess at first. I kept thinking, 'why can't they recognize her?' The similarity between the voices is really uncanny.
