Title: Star Trek: The Motion Picture (Pon Far Edition)
Post by: wraith1701 on May 22, 2008, 01:41:41 PM
A member on the Starship Modeler forum posted a link to this video.  I found it amusing, and thought I'd pass it along.  It is basically a re-edit of a particularly boring segment of Star Trek: The Motion Picture, edited to include additional sound effects that DRASTICALLY change the meaning and tone of the scene.

:skull :skull :skull WARNING:  THIS ISN'T EXACTLY WORK SAFE.   :skull :skull :skull

I'd call it "R" rated.  Not because of any foul language or graphic images, but because of graphic sounds.

***You have to copy and paste the url in your browser to get to the video.  If I post a link, the video itself is automatically pulled up by the forum.

Or when McCoy eventually turns and walks out! He almost looks disgusted with everyone!

And then he comes right back with Chekov in tow!  I can just imagine him saying something like "This is disgusting!  Let me watch it again, to, er, make sure that I didn't misinterpret anything!"

Funny, and every time I thought it was being milked a little to long, there was another very funny expression or sound.  Hmmm, maybe I should have chosen my words more closely, they could be *misinterpreted*. :blush
