Hey hey hey! It's Faaaaaaaaat Albert! I remember that cartoon. In fact, I learned how to put out a grease fire from watching it. Bill Cosbey ROCKS.
Bill Cosbey is a very smart man.
I loved his comedy albums from his early career like "Why is there air?"
To blowup basketballs - that's why!
Even as a kid Ralph Bakshi's 'Spiderman' drove me nuts with its repetitive and low budget animation.
'Starblazers' was cool though, I really liked the second season with the 'Comet Empire'. It helped to make up for the abysmal 'Speed Racer' series Japan subjected us to...
Ahhh; sweet nostalgia! I used to love these shows, esp. Battle of the Planets! That show planted the seeds for what has become a lifelong love of Japanese Animation; a love that got turbo charged by this show-
I used to love Johnny Quest... I think it was probably on it's way out when I watched it as a kid. Then there was Tarzan and Puff The Magic Dragon!
I am old enough to remember Johnny Quest being on in Prime Time. That is why the production values were so high. It was awesome, that invisible monster and the spider robot freaked me out as a kid.
And the mummy; whoa he was Ubercool. Good memories...
I remember a mid seventies cartoon that was pretty good, Thundaar the Barbarian. What about Space Ghost, and the Heurculoids? I loved them! Vintage Hannah Barbera, oh and Sea Lab 2000. And Fantastic Voyage.
Those Bring back a lot of good memories, especially the Battle of the Planets as I really loved that show growing up as a kid.
Here are a few other favorites from my childhood
Rocket Robin Hood

Oh my God... I remember Rocket Robin Hood being SO cool when I was a wee small one. Watching that clip was traumatic, it was so awful. I kept shaking my head going, "No,.. that can't be it, this must be a cruel joke." I guess we always remember things being better than they really were...
