Title: Trek character audio for this week's contest
Post by: Rico on March 18, 2006, 07:00:16 AM
Still looking for more audio entries for this week's contest.  Remember it was you imitating a Star Trek character - from any series.  Send your audio in via mp3 to treksf@gmail.com or use the voice line of 206-88TREKS.   The winner (randomly selected) will win a brand new Star Trek 3 movie DVD!  :)

UPDATE.....
As I will say at the end of this week's podcast, I am extending this contest one more week.  It will now go until Sunday morning, March 26th.  I only got a couple entries so far and I am looking for more.  Hope this doesn't disappoint the few that entered so far.  But I really want more audio!  So start recording or calling the voicemail line folks!  You have one more week!

Could you do a written contest. A contest like writing an episode for one of the series?

Do you really do that in your spare time Spock? That's cool.
Oh Rico, I'd send you an audio impersonation, but I don't have a way of recording one...I'm Sorry. I plan to buy an iRiver or some sort of device I can use with my Nano in the future.  I can do a great impersonation of Kirk. Well, I think its great...It probably stinks. I really liked your podcast today.  I haven't seen that Deep Space Nine episode. Unfortunately I missed a lot of Deep Space Nine back when I was in college, I was dating my husband back then and I was too distracted!  I'll have to buy the box set to see it. It sounds very interesting.

spock, that site ur making is really cool, that captains blog thing looks like fun, i am so gonna be captain of a Prometheus class ship, or maybe a sovereign with ablative armor and transphasic torps. what was the armor called in endgame? armored hull plating? that would be sweet.

Jen,
You can leave an audio message on the voicemail line for the Podcast at 206-88TREKS if you have no way to record.

if u do that, can u listen to ur message before it is send? i ask because when i was making an audio clip, it took me a few tries to get it to sound good.

I'm not sure.  But you can always call back and record another and let me know which to use.

If your comp is on at home, and you know it's IP address, you can use Remote Desktop at the comp you are on now to connect, and download it now, but I doubt that you can do it, because your comp prob isn't on at home, or you don't know the IP address.
