Title: Plan 9 From Outer Space
Post by: sheldor on March 09, 2008, 05:28:03 PM
Arguably, the worst sci-fi (or maybe of all) movie ever made.   Its on TCM 3:30 AM tonight.   Hey Rico, how about a podcast ?

Gosh - I love this movie!  I do need to do a "so bad they are good" podcast on old SF movies.

Plan 9 is a unique film but I still don't think it's as bad as The Brain That Wouldn't Die (1962). In fact I can think of a lot of sci-fi films that are as bad or worse.

I just finished watching the movie and very true - Sat night SciFi is much worse.  I may even write a letter to them.

OMG - some of those lines !!

As a amateur film maker i think plan 9 is pretty good considering it's made with hardly any money or time. Yes the acting is ropey and the effects terrible but hey it's still fun. You look at Peter jacksons Braindead, i love that because it shows you can make films if you try hard enough and grab all your friends. Thats what inspired me.
