Saw this dumb article online. It looks suspiciously like a Photochop of the famous big foot photo. It would be easy to cut that bigfoot out and stick it into a photo of the landscape on Mars. But, the article says that NASA is baffled by it. Anyway, here's the link to the picture and article:

Also, I woke up the other day to a bunch of reports about UFOs in Texas. One of the eye witnesses claimed he looked at it through the scope of his rifle. I think it was the same guy who said in an interview on the news, "I would have shot, but thought it might cause an intergalactic incident." :D
I hope he was joking...

You know with technology we can get some beautifully sharp photos of almost anything.. how come when someone takes a photo of big foot or aliens or a UFO the picture is always grainy... I just don't get it.
That's exactly what I said to my boss when she sent me that link to that article! What gives?
Well, The National Enquirer, or The Star, or any of the other supermarket tabloids wouldn't be around if so many people were not so gullible.
Kevin
HAHAHA....FUnny, I said the same thing to my wife. In this day and age there MANY reports of this particular UFO sighting and the only footage we get is crappy zoomed in footage from a cell phone.....What the....
As far as the Mars photo...I'm no astronomer but it looks suspiciously like an odd shaped rock....Plus everyone know that the Rover is actually in the Arizona desert somewhere ;D

what you don't all read the Enquirer for your weekly news?
If you would have you would know that the president is actually a bigfoot alien who had a baby with Paris Hilton, who comes from Mars.
Rick you should send them a pic of Bob and Gebular!
I will.

Its radiation eminating from the aliens that targets the image processor. Yes, Bigfoot is an alien. Don't you watch Six Million Man (aka. hairy upper lip) ?

Of course... that explains everything.. thanks so much :)
The other thing that my husband so brilliantly pointed out is that it could be a low res image of a very small object that someone distorted when they enlarged it exponentially. That would cause the grainy image. So... we were right all along. There are "little green men" on Mars!

I'm not sure that they are green but I hear they have big brains, small bodies and make a sound that sounds like ...ack ack ack!

Check out this image from Mars!
It's the picture that ET believers have been waiting for - and the one that shows there could be life on Mars. The image, taken by Nasa's Mars Explorer Spirit, seems to show a figure on the surface of the red planet.
However the more sceptical have decided that it is just a rock.
At first astronomers were disappointed with pictures sent back from the surface of the Red Planet by the six-wheel robot four years ago.
But a space fan spotted the figure, which was just a pinprick in the original photograph. It was blown up and posted on a website.
Pretty interesting. Looks to me just like a weird rock formation, but it's fun to speculate!
The blurry image causes me to think its -- bigfoot. Quick - someone call the X-Files !!!
We've been discussing this photo and more in a thread that Jen started yesterday...

Well crud! I didn't think the "UFO title" meant this topic. Ok, time to merge then. I think this should be in the science section though.
I agree it is something other then a life form. The Story from Jens post did mention Tusken Raider, and when I first saw the picture, that's what I thought as well. Possibly the Jundland Wastes have been moved to Mars, and those are not to be travelled lightly ;)
Well, if there's more then one they are definitely traveling single file to hide their numbers.

It's because they are easily startled. First sign of a camera, and ZIP- they scatter.
But they always come back; and in larger numbers! ;) ;)

LOL.. Sorry. It say "aliens" in the title too. :D ;)
Let me start with the thing with the UFO sightings. I am a huge believer in this stuff. I do not believe every UFO sighting I hear of, but I do believe in most. For example I do believe what happened in O'Hare was more than a weather incident. I also believe these UFO sightings in Texas are real. And I believe this story:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h39hzsbDzD8
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_4j_IXubcoU
I also do believe in most Alien abductions, because think about it. If thousands of normal, sane people report THE EXACT SAME thing from being abducted (people who aren't Sci-Fi fans like we are) Also, I believe in Area 51 conspiracy theories. And I don't believe they're from Mars, I believe they're from the Zeta Reticuli star system. I believe so much that this UFO stuff is true, that I made a video about them: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GNm6GeDL-YY
And about that Bigfoot on Mars photo, I agree that it's fake. I do, however, believe that Bigfoot exists.
Neat and interesting stuff. And welcome to the forums gundam555.
...Interesting.

My Dad has had many encounters with UFO's in his life. Or so he says. I have never seen any myself though I would like to. For many years we lived in Arizona and my dad drove trucks. He has told of actual flying objects and even of one where he saw on landed.
The story goes that back in the 70's when he hauled logs off the Apache reservation there they had a schedule in which as one truck arrived the one before would be leaving so as the drivers wouldn't be parked in line. One morning close to 4 or 5 am he arrived at the site and there were several trucks and everyone was just standing around looking down into this valley and all were very quiet. He got out of his truck and said that he intended to raise Cain because the others should have been gone. He asked what was going on and one of the guys pointed into the valley. He looked and said he saw a football (American Football) shaped object that was huge and sitting on the ground. He said there were several beings walking around outside the craft. He turned to say something to the guy next to him (my dad has a problem of having to fill any silence) When he turned back the thing was gone.
As I stated before I have never personally seen one but I tend to believe my dad. As for life on mars i don't think there is life on Mars. But I know that the scientific community isn't always right. I mean they can't even decide if Pluto is a planet or not. They also say UFO's aren't real and yet we have SETI.
