Great podcast as usual.  Though  you need to stop making me want to buy Enterprise on DVD Rico, its just not healthy for my wallet.

Cool episode Rico, enjoyed your take on Similitude, great clips you picked, a lot of emotion in them.

When Trip first appeared in a box, they just had to reel me in.

That was a good example of Enterprise, got a little misty eyed watching it.

Other Enterprise favorites for review are:
Fortunate son
Dear Doctor
and the very scary, Impulse

I am half way through at the moment, and I must say, great Arnold Rico.

JEN!!!  You need to do more of that reading stuff. :) That was great!

So far I am really enjoying this podcast.  Thanks.

Thanks... yeah, that was an overly exagerated South Texas Drawl.  :D
There are differences depending on the region of Texas you're in. It sort of wandered into a "North Texas Drawl" at the end... but it was a lot of fun.  :D

Rico, your comment about Trip losing a little of his accent when he went to Starfleet was entirely possible. I had a pretty thick drawl until I went to high school and made a concerted effort to tone it down (for my college interviews and what not). Then when I left for college, and my small town, it waned even more. It's still there and other Texans or linguists could probably can tell where I blend words together (I tend to drop "d's", "t's" and "n's" at the end or middle of sentences.) Also, my accent tends to jump out when I'm surprised, excited or angry.

Excellent show. I LOVED this episode. Excellent acting and writing in this Enterprise episode. It is a tear jerker... no if's and's or but's about it.

Great show, jen as was said, great reading! I think this was a very well written episode. We really feel for Sim, and are saddened when he goes.

Outstanding podcast!
I had no idea that the Zindi (sp?) season of Enterprise had such well written episodes.

as usual, great selection of clips from the episode Rico.  Duffster that was some mighty fine writing, and Jen mighty fine drawl(and reading).

Hi Rico,
Don here..
Thanks for answering my question on the Similitude podcast! It was really cool to hear you had put me in your show...I never expected that!
You are involved in audio; is it always like that to sound so strange to hear yourself??   Somehow, I had missed this podcast last week and just skipped to 158.  This is definitely one of ST:Enterprise's finest eps.  Great work reading the RPG post, Jen..and again...Glad to be apart of the forums!

Okay so I decided to stream the 'chasing cars' song to my xbox today and then my 3 year old runs in and says " Daddy that's the song that was on your computer. The one where the man gets his head hurt!"

I think she's on the fourms too much watching the streaming movies for her own good.
