Title: The transformed man
Post by: Doraz the loon on January 05, 2008, 12:53:04 PM
Hi everyone

Apologies if this has been discussed before but has anyone heard The Transformed Man by good ol' Shatner?

Its very easy to poo poo this album but am I alone in thinking its actually quite entertaining? I can kind of see where Bill was trying to go be interpreting music in his own way. His version of 'It was a very good year' is legendary!

Most of my mates think I'm slightly deranged for liking this classic album.

Whats everyone think?

Altogether now...  :metallica: LUCY IN THE SKY WITH DIAMONDS...

Anything with the Shatner singing is gold to me!

I think Shatners singing stretches the definition of singing somewhat.  :o

Its still a classic, what about a podcast on the musical careers of Trek actors Rico?

There was a brilliant documentry about it on a BBC Star Trek night some time ago, it was hosted by the late John Peel I believe.

It has the utterly amazing and yet bizarre video for ' The Balad of Bilbo Baggins' by Leonard Nimoy.
