Some years for me are better than others.
Quit smoking - 7 years ago.
Good
Lose Weight - 3 years ago.
last year I found it all again.
Bad
This year -
Finnish watching all of Star Trek Voyager
I gave up around year 3
I think I can, I think I can, I think I can.
yeah, I know about all those new year's resolutions!
You'll have to check out my latest sermon Dave, it's called the two degree difference. I'll pm the address if you want a listen, I talk about little course corrections that make big changes directionally. Pretty fun.
Cheers! Go for it man!
YOU CAN!
I'm going to be more devoted to my workout regimen. I was a little lax this year.
I'm going to work on my drawing this year. I'm not very good, but I miss it.
I'm going to continue my work resolution from last year, not to care about things more than everyone else. Sounds funny, but it made my life so much better.
I try not to make resolutions because I know I won't keep them and will be disappointed in myself when I don't.
All I can do is live my life to the fullest. Enjoy every moment on this beautiful planet because you never know when it might be your last. Love those around you and say I love you everyday to friends and family, and give lots and lots of hugs. :)
Like I said on my last Attic of my Mind show, I don't usually do this. I'm pretty good at making a plan for myself and sticking to it. And that I can do at anytime, bot just on Jan. 1st. But good luck to those that do make resolutions.

Wow - you draw? that's so cool!
Like fingerprints, your drawings are uniquely you.
It's fun to use pen, pencil, paint, crayons and draw anything you can see or imagine.
Want a real challenge? Draw people!
Like playing music - practice makes perfect.

I am like you Dan, in that I will work on some from last year. Fitness is my top one. Also a few other I had from last year with building more models and reading more books. I have a goal as well to find a new Job, I don't want to put that as a resolution, as it is something I feel I need to do regardless of the time of year.
I totally get what you say about caring to much, it brings to much unneeded stress. I fall in that trap from time to time, but for the most part at work, I have stopped caring, maybe more so then I should.
I get too overwhelmed when I look at all the things I could do. It's like this huge mountain. So my philosophy this last couple of years is...
"Take it one rock at a time and enjoy the sights on the way" That way when I finally reach the top of the mountatin, not only is it attainable, but it was a good time getting there.
:)
Good attitude Rick. Same as I try to live my life. And Jeff and others I know how you feel about work. Sometimes it can get frustrating. You want to do the right thing but run into roadblocks and people that don't see your point of view. Sometimes you do have to let go of it a bit. I'm not the best at that. But I'm good at venting! Hehe! Keeps the stress levels down.
I usually do not do a new year's resolution. I have issues continuing something from week to week :)
>.> My New Year's Resolution is to get $1,000,000 so that way I'm not disappointed at the end of the year. :-X
