Dude I remember how I excited I was when the show came back.  Not the greatest, but fun!

I loved the flying motorcycles, but I was 10.

I've had the (mis)fortune of seeing all the episodes recently on Sci-Fi and on Netflix VOD.  The Starbuck episode is required viewing for fans of the original series, but even that isn't very good.

I loved the Starbuck episode with the Cylon.  That one episode is worth getting the set for.

I would've said the same thing a month ago, but then I rewatched it.

When your entire episode depends on the acting skills of Dirk Benedict, you're in a lot of trouble.

It's required viewing for any true BSG-original fan, but it's not really a highlight of anything, other than BSG-80.

Wow I remember this show.  I saw parts of it recently and wow was it bad.  The flying mototrcycles were what I remembered most from childhood.  Yeah I think I will pass on this set. ALso in the picture posted above...is it me or does Lorne Greene's beard look really fake or is it me?

I want to like this, but I think I'm gonna have to pass.  Don't get me wrong; I loved it as a kid- the Flying Motorcycles were the best!  But looking back, it was just too huge a step down from the original BSG.

 I have to give props to those who are hard-core enough to add this to their collection.

I will probably pick this up as well, not the best, but still nice to have. It has been a few years since I have seen Galactica 80, so I am sure there will be plenty of groans, especially with Wolfman Jack.

I like the Halloween episode where some people pick up the bad guy and the Cylon on the side of the road and the woman comments on how great the Cylon's costume is.

I know I am going to take some ridicule for saying this  ;) but last week I picked up this DVD set, as I could not resist. I have seen all the episodes in the past so know what they are all about. I have to say after watching the first 4 episodes of Galactica 80, I actually enjoyed them quite a bit, and not going to paint it with such a negative brush. I do agree it is pretty campy, such as having enhanced abilities due to gravity and Troy and Dylan's lack of understanding of basic things on Earth, but there are elements of the story that are quite good. I never had a problem with Dr Z, same as I never had a problem with Wesley or Lucas from Seaquest. I am going to say I am happy I got this, and will probably watch the rest of it in the next few weeks. I will not feel bad if the rest of you choose to laugh at me  :D
