Title: WHITE CHRISTMAS??
Post by: Trekkygeek on December 23, 2007, 11:41:09 AM
How likely is it that you guys and girls will see a white Christmas this year? I ask because It is something I would love to experience, but in my 35 years on this Earth, I cannot ever remember seeing one. Is it something you guys take for granted? Hollywood would have us believe that every year sees snow on Christmas day in America. Perhaps you can quosh the rumours.

Pretty likely here in Michigan.  Got a ton of snow last weekend.  Much of it meted the last couple of days but there is still some around here and might have more before Christmas.  Don't believe Hollywood.  The west and the south don't get much snow, except in the mountains.  Too warm in those areas in general.

/agree with Rico.  I only ever see it when I'm at my Grandma's house.  Thats about it.

We have been getting snow up here in Canada, not as much as as down east, but we will have a white Christmas, got a bit last night, and maybe some more tomorrow. Been mild, around 0 celsius, but the snow will be around for the 25th where I am
