Got an email from MR today, I am excited about some of their offerings for 2008. No More Star Wars, but Star Trek and BSG should help ease the pain.

On a related note, MR has sold out of all their in stock Star Wars items. It's almost the end of an era.

I'm guessing either that or scalpers bought it up hoping to make a profit. Right now, I only regret not buying the Falcon. If anyone ever sees it online for a good price in the coming months, let me know.
Of course MR has many Star Wars items people have preordered that still haven't started to ship yet. The Stormtrooper helmet being at the top of that list.
I was kind of holding out to see if they would discount some of the Items, such as the Boba Fett Blaster. I guess it is good for them that they were able to sell off all their Merchandise. Since a lot of those items were not moving, I would guess they let them go to a reseller at a bargain, but like you said, might be a scalper hoping people are wanting MR Star Wars items. If no new licensee is announced in the next while for the props and other Items MR was doing, could push the available items up on the secondary market. My regret was that I never pr-ordered a Stormtrooper Helmet, but I do have the Boba Fett one on PreOrder.
At least I can start planning for the BSG Helmets, and whatever Star Treks props they are coming out with, and gives me a carrot to look forward to when putting in OT at work. I wonder with The Original Battlestar Galacticas 30th anniversary in 2008, if they will release more Original series items over the re imaged version
