I figured I'd see if anyone was interested in a little game. Here's how it works:
Try and guess the name of the Sci- Fi movie or TV show the image below is from. The first person to guess right gets to post the next image. The first person to guess that image correctly posts the next, and so on. Here's the first- I'll start off kind of easy:

Anyone out there know what this is from? C'mon; your Geek-Cred is at stake! ;)

If you have an image handy, please post a pic. Feel free to step up the difficulty setting a notch. ;)
I love the Last Starfighter...
Here's another easy one just to get things going.
That's Moya from "Farscape."
That's correct... now it's your turn to post a pix.
Lets see one from Babylon 5 !!
A little tougher one maybe....
I know what it is.. but since I answered the one before I'll see who else can get it.
I say go for it Kenny, inquiring minds want to know!
Misfits of Science :spidey

Yes that is Courtney Cox in one of her first roles. She had telekinesis powers.

Spidey you might need to give us a hint.. I don't have a clue what the picture is from. Is it a cartoon or live action? TV series or Movie?

As Kenny said it is Courteney Cox. The guy is actually Dean Martin's son. He died quite young in a small plane accident.
Spidey I'm taking a stab at your picture and saying it's from the "UFO" TV series.
It's a 70's show starring Andy Griffith :spidey
That picture is from "Salvage One?" It's kind of scary how quickly I remembered that. :blink
Ding Ding Ding, Rico is the winner :spidey
Here's a new one to ponder...
Logan's Run! Epsidoe Fear Factor!
Eegads Bryan! Ok, the bonus question for Bryan. What famous TV actor was married to the girl in the picture? And no Googling!

I have no idea! Truth be told, I knew it was Logan's Run immediately from the picture of Jessica 6, I recognized the actress. I haven't actually see any of the TV series since it first aired. I googled an espisode list and found that pic, or one similar of that set, and added the espisode title just to amaze you!
OK, Heather Menzies married to Robert Ulrich...I googled... :blush
Awesome Job Bryan.. now it's your turn to see if you can stump us with a picture.
I can't post a pic here at work, but will when I get home. :)
Okay Bryan.. until you can post one from home.. I'll post another to keep the game going.
V...too easy Kenny! :biggrin

Let's see if you get this....
Land of the Lost!!!! LOL!!! I have no idea, looks early to mid-80's..
Wait! Harry and the Henderson's? No, that was with John Lythgow as the Dad.. Alf?
Yes it is Mid 80's
It's a show about that little kid in the picture.....oh what is it??!!! Ahh!
Can't recall the title. Weren't they a family on some type of parallel earth or something like that?

Rico got it, Other World....I had to google to remeber that title as well.
I knew Rico would get it... we have talked about this in the past.. yes it's Otherworld air on CBS in 1985.
Bryan got the name - so he is up. I don't think I ever really watched a whole episode of that series actually.
Well Bryan can't post pixs from work.. that is why I was posting.. do you want to post one or should I do another?

I'm going to pass for awhile and give others a shot.
I knew you would know it Rico :)

Ok here is one I watched when it came out. Sorry, it's the best pic I could find.
man I know this one.. but I can't put my finger on it.
Space Rangers. :)
Wow i *vaguely* remember that show.
Bryan is right!! Only showed 4 episodes before it was canceled. I remember being very upset they cancelled it.
Duffster
Great Job Bryan... can you post a pix or are you at work?
At work, so I have to defer gain today :(.
Okay.. here's one.. let's see if anyone can get it. If not I'll give some hints.
This is more Fantasy then Sci Fi.
PM sent!
I know but I'll wait to see if there anyone else can guess. My daughter used to watch this show. Hint... Think fairy tales. :spidey
Here more hints.. it's from the 80's, it ran for two seasons on ABC.
I remember that show, although I tried to avoid it. It think it was some fairy tale name like "Once upon a Time" or "Happily Ever After"
Duffster
That's close.. let's see if anyone knows the exact name.
The Charmings?
Ding Ding Ding... give the lady a teddybear!!!
Okay your next Jen.. let's see if you can stump us.
I have a new name for this game.. "Stump the Geek" :)
Wow...I thought I watched a lot of TV, but you guys are destroying me. I haven't gotten one yet!
OK... I'm looking for one...
OK, got one for you. It's fantasy oriented.
Wow.. I don't have a clue.
Oh my. I sort of recall that show, but it's been forever and I'm not even sure I watched it regularly. I think the girl/ghost was like a dead actress/starlet and the guy moved into the place she used to live. I think. Pretty hazy in my mind right now. Good tough one Jen.
Well I know for sure I did not watch that show.. I don't have a clue what it's from... Good Job Jen
I never missed it when I was little. :)
Wow, I remeber watching this, cant recall the title. I seem to recall the lady gave the boy a lot of advice as he was a bit of a nerd. Cant recall the title though
I would end up giving it away if I gave you a clue. :D
Hey, can i go next? I have a great one and haven't been able to put it up!
Jennifer Slept Here is what it was called
Yep! I started watching it because the lady had the same name as me. Did I mention I was little when I watched it... It was sort of lame.
Jeff, let me snake your turn, I have guessed a few yesterday but was at work and couldn't post. here's a poser..
Thats the original Doctor Who. :spidey
This next one should be easy.
Andromeda?
We have a win-NEHR !!
Yep. That beautiful ship is the Glorious Heritage Class heavy cruiser Andromeda Ascendant. Wasn't that show a brainchild of Gene Roddenberry?
Here is another, I dont think it is really that hard
Time Tunnel...short lived but one of my favorites
Not sure how easy/hard this one will be...but it was the "star" of this one episode.
I vaguely remember this painting at the beginning of every episode...

Earth 2
correct -o-mundo!
I remember that, Tim Curry (Rocky Horror Picture Show) was a bad guy on this series
and Antonio Sabato Junior!
Ok this might be very very easy or very very hard.
My guess is an insignia from the 1950's TV show Space Patrol.
I agree with Ktrek, this is Space Patrol!
By the way, this thread ROCKS! How fun!
No not space patrol, much newer then that.
Space above and beyond?
Correct! It's the squadron patch for the "Angry Angels" worn by Lt. Col. T. C. McQueen.
OK Moy... your turn!
Here we go boys and girls...
Thundercats ? Thunderbirds ? Thunderbolts ? Thunder Squadron ? What the heck was their name again ?
I was also thinking Thunderbirds but I don't think it is...but I'll agree.
Nope, no Thunder in it at all!
hehehe.
That's the cruiser from Space Precinct.

Is it Werewolf? :spidey
Yeah I think your right Spidey.. been a while since I've seen that show.

Ummmm....Purple People Eaters ?
First Wave
I think it's Earth Final Conflict
We have another winner! Go for it Duffster :spidey
Probably an easy one.
The guy on the right looks familiar. I know it's probably late 70's by the hairstyles and I think I may have watched it when I was little but I can't remember the show.
Quark! I was going to post a pic from Quark as well, just not with Richard Benjmen, he's the giveaway.
You got it Bryan!
O.K., Bryan... post a pic. Make it a tough one! :)
Not too tough though, I have a picture I want to post that will stump even the great Kenny. :roflmao
Post it...
I need to win one first
Yes that's true.. but I would rather someone post a pix then let this thread die.. Bryan can post a pix when he gets back online. He's cool like that. :)
Okay then, the first picture is of the cast and the second is their ship although it is a painting rather than a model of it. if you get this one I'll be very surprised, It's an old British show.
I don't think that would stump anyone who was really attentive.
:)
LOL.. yeah I would make sure you change the titles of the jpgs before posting.. I know I almost made the same mistake when I posted a picture.

Anyone? Most Brits should recognise it. It was a hugely popular show in the eighties and I myself had a little model of the ship "The Liberator". It was far more gritty than Doctor Who and If it could be awesome if it went through a re-imagining in the same way "Who" did.
Man; this is a tough one.
***...must... resist... urge to... Google... :P***
Rico already guess it and he was correct.
Ahh Rico, you truly are a knowledgeable geek mate.
Now where have I seen that badge design before???
I mainly recognized the main guy and his outfit. Not sure I have ever seen the show but I have read some articles about it. Let me come up with a new stumper now.
This isn't a great picture, but I had trouble finding many for this show.
Drawing a blank. Was it a sit-com, or a drama?
Was it based on a movie? :spidey
hmmm I think we need a hint.
I'm gonna guess. Total Recall 2070? :spidey

Nope. Here's another picture hint from the show. It only lasted one season.
Was Adam Baldwin in it?
VR5.
Good one, Rico. I'd forgotten about that show completely.
Once I saw those VR glasses, it clicked.
So Adam Baldwin was in it then...
Here's one.
I remember watching this show when I was younger, it was a lot of fun. I will leave it for someone else to try and guess the title, :)
I had a feeling you'd know it, since it was a Canadian show.
Wow.. you guys are coming up with some good ones.. I don't have a clue what this is.. you say it's Canadian.. did it air in the US?
I am not sure, as I only ever remember watching it on a Canadian Station as it was Canadian produced, it is possible it showed on Cable in the states, or in syndication
Well I got it.. but I had to do some research.. I knew one of the actors and started there... This did air on Fox I think it was. I won't say what it is since I really didn't figure it out.
Glad someone got VR 5 finally. Cool show. I know the next show pretty well but I will let someone else take a crack at it.
It aired in syndication in the US in the late 80s.

I had thought to remove him from the picture, but that would've made it much too hard.
Man dude. I remember that show. Can't think of the name.
It was "My Secret Identity" starring a pre-Sliders Jerry O'Connell.
Here's another, perhaps the worst show I've ever watched, from the same time period:
Small Wonder...
It was the "worst show I've ever watched" hint that tipped me off.
Even Worse -
TV Guide named this one as the second worse show of all time.
Hint...not "Rob and Laura" pictured below.
My Mother The Car?
Yup - Starring Jerry Van Dyke.
That show was pretty lame even for 1965. 17 years later another talking car show was produced, but with a much cooler car!
Just to keep things moving along, a pulled out an oldie but a goodie:
This one should be easier than shootin' womprats with your T-16 back home ;D

This one might be easy.... but I use to watch this show.. it's was really cool

We loved that show, the music was great and so was the cat!
You got it.. I really enjoyed this series. Your turn to post a pix.
okey dokey
herer you go.
Hmmm...
The CGI makes me want to say Babylon-5, but I don't remember seeing this ship in any of the episodes. Is it an American or British show?
Oh SWEET, I know what it is!!!!!
Its Seaquest DSV TV Series!! Thats the Seaquest the main ship of the series! I recognize the distinct arrow-headed shape, the middle sphere, and the 3 whiskers around it. Its the Seaquest alright!!!

Yes, it was originally a Japanese show that was licensed and re-dubbed for the U.S. It is animated. This should narrow it down a bit.

I'm a fan of anime; some of my favorites include Evangelion, Cowboy Bebop, and just about every giant-robot show out there. ;D
I don't recongize this, so I'm gonna have to take a guess.
Digimon?

Yes, I'm still a fan of that show and its 5 TV seasons and 6-7 movies that they released. They just released a new season called: Digimon Savers. I highly recommend watching the Japanese version with Eng subtitles as they did a superb job with it....if you watch the English Dubbed one...you'll never watch Digimon again (it sucks a lot). In my opinion, subs are almost always superior to dubs, esp. with shows that the American license holders are determined to "dumb-down" or "kiddie-ize". Right now, the only company with dubs that seem consistently good is ADV.

I was gonna say Highlander but that's not right.
I'm drawing a blank, so I'm going to take a wild guess. It looks like a late 90's show... Is it Wolf Lake?
I think we need a hint :spidey
Hint... hmmm this series aired on ABC from April 8th 1990 to June 10th 1991. It was a Emmy Award-nominated, Peabody- and Golden Globe-winning television serial drama.
Twin Peaks. I should have known earlier! I watched this show. :spidey
This one is still shown on the SciFi channel occasionally :spidey
Farscape?
Nope :spidey
Enterprise?
Looks like Enterprise to me too Kenny...Maybe it's a scene from the intro?
That's what I was thinking.
Is it actually from a TV series? I've got a certain movie in mind.
Also, If it is a TV series, is that shuttle a main part of the show or is it just filler?
We should sing the intro song until he tells us you're right. :D

I don't have a clue...
Well, it's Flash Gordon and Princess Aura from Flash Gordon Conquers the Universe, but poorly colorized. I don't think this really qualifies in the game because this is supposed to be about Sci-fi/fantasy TV shows not movies or serials.

Cool.. let's see if you can stump us Ktrek.
Ok...if you wish...I will allow any incarnation of the show because the pic I am about to post the character appeared many times over 14 years in several incarnations of the show. I don't think it would be fair to require the exact series name. Also, I didn't see where animation was not allowed so....
Kevin
Well you got me.. I don't have a clue on this one.
I'll give you one clue Kenny. George Lucas said that Darth Vader was partly based on this villain.
Connect the villain, connect the show.
That's enough for now.
Kevin
That's Darkseid, Lord of Apokalypse from D.C. comics. The show could be one of any of the DC animated shows. ;D
**edit** the show could be Justice League...
I'm gonna let you have this one Wraith, although technically speaking I don't think Justice League should qualify. I know he did appear on Justice League but that show really is in the Timmverse and this show was not. It is a little confusing because on the show/s in question they did occasionally refer to themselves as the Justice League and did meet in the Hall of Justice but what I was looking for was:
Super Friends
Challenge of the Super Friends
All New Superfriends Hour
The Superfriends Hour
Super Friends - Legendary Superpower Show
Super Powers Team: Galactic Gaurdians
Super Friends had many incarnations of the show over about a 13 year history. It was an excellent cartoon for the time from 1973 -1986. The Justice League of America and Justice League Unlimted shows are really in a different universe from the Super Friends although many of the same main characters appear, such as Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, etc.
Anyway, there is a history lesson for you.
Kevin
Thanks, Kevin. :)
I'm going to continue the animation theme with a pic from one of my favorite shows-
(http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t91/wraith1702/cap1_pic14.jpg)
For anyone with even a passing familiarity with Japanese animation, this should be a piece of cake...
I'm guessing here: Voltron?
I'm not sure if Johnny Quest is Japanese, but that is my guess...
Quote from: Jen on December 29, 2007, 09:53:29 AM
I'm guessing here: Voltron?
Nope, but when I was little, I loved Voltron!
This show is newer, and much more thematically complex. In my opinion, it is easily the single most influential animated work produced in the last 20 years. The show is kind of polarizing among anime fans; all know about it and either hate it or love it.
It's hard to describe without spoiling the show, but I can say that it explores a lot of religious and psychological themes using the typical "Giant Robot Show" trappings to lure viewers into giving it a try.
Here are a few more images-

If no one can figure it out from this, I'll go ahead and give the answer and post an image from a different show.
-Eric
it looks like Starblazers
Nope. Although Starblazers/Uchū Senkan Yamato is a pretty cool show.
Anyone? Anyone? Beuler?
I'm not a fan of Anime...
ok on looking at Starblazers stuff I found Neon Genesis Evangelion... never heard of it before, is it that?
Yep, That's it!
Your turn, Rick :)
Wow.. good job Rick.. I had never heard of that series...that stumped me for sure. :)
ok, here we go...
Don't know...
It looks like it's a British 70's show. Am I right so far?
yes, British and 70's
Is it Blake's 7? :spidey
I'm guessing it's "UFO."
Rico.. your turn to post a pix...
C'mon, Rico...your turn...Make it a tough one! 8)
Wow we have gone a whole day without a new picture.. Rico must be busy.... here's one
Looks like Friday the 13th: The Series.
Wow.. didn't think anyone would get that one.. good job.. your turn to post a pix.
Yay! Finally. I've been waiting to show some love to this short-lived show that combined two of my favourite TV genres.
[This is embarassing. I don't know how to post a picture here. Do I just attach the file? That's what I'll try first.]
oh man.. I remember this series.. I just have to remember the name of it.
I watched every episode... Century City.
fun fun...
The guy on the left looks lost...
Is it Land of the Lost?
nope. Try again! :roflmao
This is Planet of the Apes TV series.
OK...looks like a mid 70's tv show, because the hairstyle over the ears.
Two guys in primitive conditions - trying to find their way into feature films.
It's gotta be Planet of the Apes!
Dang...a little to slow
Go for it Kenny :)
Yes, yes it is!
I have the DVD's pretty cool man!
Yay!! Okay lets see if you guys can get this one.. it's recent so it might be too easy.
wow, that's really hard. I recognize people, but not the show at all.
I think it was called Carnivale.
Apologies for presuming that I got the answer right, but I'm going to go ahead and post my next picture clue.
Alvin
"Birds of Prey." Fun show and gone too fast. I'll get a new one up shortly to guess on.
Don't think we have had this one yet. This thread is getting pretty long - hard to keep track. Hehe!
Fantastic Journey!

Fantastic Journey!
Ding - ding - ding. Another winner!
Here's in easy one I don't think was done yet.
Mission Impossible?
King
Mission Impossible? Nope!
It's Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea
Kevin
In this one I am not going to reveal any main actors because it would give it away too easily. However, I will post clue pics until we get a winner. Here is the first:
Kevin
Gotta be Get Smart...
yes?
You got it Rick! I guess Agent 13 was also too recognizable! lol
Kevin
Didn't he wind up in the most fun places? He was always eating too, wasn't he?
Ok, here you go...
Isn't that M.A.N.T.I.S
This is getting harder... we have done so many TV shows.
This might be easy... guess will see.
Dead Like Me.... Great show!
Duffster
You got it Duffster!!!!
Here ya go
Try again Duffster.. we did this series already.. it's Automan
ACK!!! curses too many of these now.
OK, I don't remember seeing this one.
Red Dwarf?
I don't have a clue on this one..
I'm pretty sure it's the computer from Red Dwarf, but I haven't seen the show in a while.
Duffster?
I think you are right Wraith.. I looked it up it looks like the same person (character). Go ahead and post a new pix.
Here you go-
(http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t91/wraith1702/scifigame.jpg)
I haven't a clue!!!!
Ohhh I so know this one!!! But can't think of it!!! Late Space 1999?
Another clue-
(http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t91/wraith1702/thefuture.jpg)
Definatley Space 1999 but didn't we already do that?
Bingo! :)
***EDIT***
My apologies if this show has been posted already...
Your turn Bryancd.
I think this game needs a T.O.!!!! :)
Are folks bored with these picture games? No has posted any new pictures the past few days.
OK, try this one then.
I totally recognize it but I can't remember the name of the show for the life of me.
No idea... could you give us a clue?
Its a BBC production from the eighties. I know Rico will get it
I'm blanking on that one Trekkygeek.
I almost want to say.....War of the Worlds? Probably wrong.
King
Man it took some searching but I got it... the series is called The Tripods
I never heard of it.
Try not to google the actors name to figure this one out :)
I won't Google his name, though he is an ex-fighter pilot with a drinking problem! ;)
"Starman" with Robert Hays. Ok, time for me to put up a good one.....
Here you go...
No idea but that is a great jean jacket.
Quote from: billybob476 on January 03, 2008, 12:13:14 PM
No idea but that is a great jean jacket.
LOL.... yeah are these the supporting actors in the show? Did you crop out the main actor.. I don't recognize either one.
Ah, no. The guy in the picture was the main star of the show. He actually did a fair amount of TV work back in the day - as they say. I can give you guys a hint if you need it.
Ok, couple of hints. The actor is Ben Murphy and the series aired in the lated 70's. Feel free to Google since this one seems to of stumped people.
Gemini Man...wow, don't rmember that one..
I'm shocked Bryan. Thought for sure you would get it. He could turn invisible due to an accident. But if he stayed invisible for more than one hour in 24 he wouldn't ever be able to be visible again. Kind of a cool 70's show. Your turn at bat.
OK, now it does ring a bell. I'm at work and can't post a pic, so I defer my turn :).
well since Brian deferred here's an easy one:
Looks like Hilary Swank from that movie The Core.. but that can't be since this is suppose to be TV series.. so I don't have a clue.
Ha ha ha you're right Kenny, i got confused between the 3 games we have running! Bonus points for calling me out on my error!
LOL.. I was right?? I thought maybe it was a series that I might have missed. I'll post a new pic in a few minutes.. gotta find a good one.
Yup, you are on the ball today mister.
Sorry for the small picture.. but it was the best i could find.
American Gothic!
("Someone's at the door")
I gotta run away from the computer, so I'm going to post my clue now.
I only have vague memories of this show, but I think I liked it at the time.
Oh dang...that guy pings in my memory, but the only name I can think of is Angel's.........something.
King
I remeber his necklace glowed or something...
Was this chap in "The Wrath Of Khan"?
Joachim, yep that's him.
The Phoenix! I knew it had something to do with the necklace.
Well I got the answer from Google, but feel it's a little early so I just wanted to show off my quick research skills. ;D
It only aired for a month, apparently
I think the show had the name Phoenix in it. Can't recall the exact title.
Bryan beat us to it. ???
Quote from: Bryancd on January 04, 2008, 12:24:03 PM
Joachim, yep that's him.
That's why I recognized him!
Oh yeah, Bryan did have it. I thought it was still going since I didn't see a new picture up.
Bryan can't post pics from work.. so if anyone has a good one go ahead and post it.
Here's an easy one for a speed round!
Land Of The Lost?
ding ding ding... give that lady a tribble!!!
WOoo-HOOO! I love tribbles! OK give me a second and I'll post something.
Here're two... Since Bryan posted an easy one I'll do the same. I'm also throwing in a bonus. I nonsci-fi variety show that my parents watched when I was little.
Well I know the first one.. it's one of my all time favorite series.. and the second one look familiar but I'm not sure of the name.
is it Alien Nation and Hee Haw???
YES! Heee Haaaaaaaaw. He hee he haw haw haw! HE HAW! (the theme Song)
You have earned the title of "Bubba". Congratulations!
We watched this when I was a kid... We were stationed overseas, and at the time there was only one U.S. Channel- A.F.R.T.S. (the American Forces Radio and Television Service), so there weren't really any options on what to watch. This song is forever stuck in my head:
"Where, oh where
Are you tonight...
Why did you leave me here all alone?
I looked the world over and thought I'd found true love
You met another, and *pfft* you were gone." - LOL
Yeah, we watched hee haw too!
Ok here you go.
I loved this as a kid. Sigmund the Sea Monster
Let's see if anyone gets this one.
Quote from: markinro on January 04, 2008, 08:18:22 PM
OMG !!!
The best is Worf right at the end...he sure looks like a merry man!
Hmmmm
Joined this game abit late.
Thats a really tough one. Got me stumped. :wallbash:
Here's a clue.. it ran from October 7, 1981 - March 22, 1982 on CBS for 22 Episodes.
No Guesses...here's another clue..
Max is an auto mechanic who keeps his magic powers a secret from everybody except his teenage apprentice.
I'd guess Mr Wizard but that's a kids show on CBC
I think you are close Mark. I think it was called "The Wizard"
Was it Mr. Merlin? :spidey
Quote from: spidey27 on January 07, 2008, 10:28:13 AM

Oh yeah - I think that's it. I wasn't sure exactly. Kenny??
Yup, that's it. Found it on IMDB
Spidey's turn!
Yep.. finally.. Spidey got it...
This shouldn't be that hard :spidey
Why that's FAT MOMMA from Who wants to be a superhero!
Woo hoo!
oh, that's easy! Ok bridge keeper, ask me the questions, I'm not afraid! (say in english accent)
here we go
In Search Of?
Six Million Dollar Man :spidey
hummm... I think you're right Spidey. I think I remember a weird episode with Bigfoot in it.
Yes, the six million dollar man! The secret of bigfoot! What a great show!
Yeah - I think it was Ted Cassidy in the suit.
Quote from: moyer777 on January 07, 2008, 07:49:54 PM

Before he grew that thing just under his nose and started wearing collars that went down to his ELBOWS !! :)
Quote from: markinro on January 07, 2008, 07:50:47 PM
Yeah - I think it was Ted Cassidy in the suit.
Actually I believe two different guys played Bigfoot on the show. Andre the Giant, who was a wrestler was the first. Then Ted Cassidy took over in the later episodes I think if I recall correctly.
Since Spidey hasn't posted a new pix I figure I would post and easy one.
Dark Angel!
You got it...
woo hoo!
Ok, how about....
I don't have a clue..
notice the hat, and what's in his hand.... hmmmmm. :)
And that awful blue suit Kolchak always wore - he's like Columbo. Night Stalker - the original series.
I don't know why I liked this show...maybe some of you will remember. This was the only photo I could find.
Is that Get Smart? :spidey
No - but good guess.
Dang! I can remember that show a little but can't recall the name. I think they worked at an auto shop or something.
So far, so good. It was on around the time Batusi (sp?) was all the craze. Supposedly, they are planning on a dvd release - only 17 episodes
Well I guess it's not Taxi.
Correct. It's not Taxi.
Does that mean I win?
Sorry Admiral BillBob - no. :)
To give a hint - the main character was Mr. Beamish. Dick Gautier was his partner at the garage. Here are the words from the theme (spoken) as well as a few photos.
A scientist both wise and bold
Set out to cure the common cold
Instead he found a power pill
Which he said most certainly will
Change a lamb into a lion
Like an eagle he'll be flyin
Solid steel will be like putty
It'll work on anybody.
Then it was found this power pill
Made the strongest men quite ill
So the secret search began
To find the one and only man
Who can take this power pill...
And turn into the most...
What they found made them squeamish
For only Stanley Beamish
A weak and droopy daffodil
Can take this potent power pill
That sent him soaring through the skies
Fighting foes and fighting spies.
When he took the pill...
Mr. Terrific
Here's an easy one.
Honey, I Shrunk the Kids: The TV Show?
Good guess Jen.. but wrong.. it's a bit older.
"Land of the Giants" for yours Kenny. I'm up......hmmm....let me see.........
Hope we didn't have this one yet. Here you go....
Nope we haven't done this one yet.. I was trying to find a good picture of it.. all I could find was Prison Break pictures and I didn't want people to be confused. I'll see if anyone can get this one.. I really enjoyed this series and it was one that ended on a big cliffhanger and was never resolved.. another causality of Fox :(
John Doe?
That's it Jen... good job..
I had crush on the star of this show when I was in Jr. High and it continued into my high school years until I first saw Dean Cain in Superman...then I was finished with the fresh-faced teen in this picture. :D
Sorry, I couldn't find a better pic.
Think we did this one before. Fun show though.
I know this one but I don't have a good idea of another to put up so I'll defer it to someone else. Used to watch this show Saturday mornings!
Yeah.. you're right Rico... It's on page 11—My Secret Identity. I'm going to lunch with Angela. Someone else post a replacement for me.
I don't think repeats are so bad. If the image is different then it can still be a challenge.
They just had a marathon of John Doe on SCI FI, I watched it again, wow, it was really good and very well done.
let's see how quick....
KHAAAAAAAANNNNNN!!!
Fantasy Island. De plane boss! De plane! De plane!
Okay since no has posted a new pix.. here's one.. this might be tough if you were not a fan of the series.
This was the only picture I could find for this series... it's a DVD cover.
No guesses.. here are some hints.. it's a spin off of a very popular series of the 60's. The title is the name of the main character.
Tabitha?
You got it Wraith.. Tabitha.. the daughter on Bewitched
Cool! :)
This one should be pretty easy:
One of my favorite episodes of this series... but I won't guess it.. unless no one else gets it.
I'm going to say Buffy The Vampire Slayer.
You got it Jen.. it's from the Fourth Season Episode called Hush.. the majority of the episode was done with no talking.. pretty amazing stuff.
Okay, so it's been a while since anybody posted a picture and last night I was reminded of this show that really scared the hell out of me as a kid. This would be an easy one to Google, but I wonder if anyone knows it straight off the cuff?
Quote from: Trekkygeek on February 03, 2008, 12:53:53 PM

The Invisible Man
I only got to watch a couple of them but the idea was pretty good.
Amar
No mate, I'm afraid it's not The invisible man.
No idea... Give us a clue, Trekkygeek. :)
It's called "Sapphire & Steel" I think. But not 100% positive.
Well done Rico, I thought you would be the one to get it. A genuinely scary programme
Ok, here's a new on for you. Not sure if we have had this one yet.
Ha! That's the show about the space garbage men, right? Quark!
Yep - that's correct. Your turn wraith.
Man... I'm running out of TV shows. I don't know if this has been done yet. A Pretty easy one-
(http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i31/wraith1701/easy.jpg)
This was my all time favorite TV show when I was a kid...
V to be more specific it's from V: The Final Battle
That's Diana the evil queen of the lizards (or so she thought) and Brian the father of Elizabeth the Starchild.
See told you I was a huge fan... and still am.
Those sunglasses are like..umm.."space" sunglases.
Kenny; you got the last one correct... Do you have any more images? I know that there is a finite number of shows to choose from, but there's nothing wrong with picking a different scene from a show we've done already. Go ahead; try and stump us!
I figured people go bored with these games as they all stopped playing. But I can find another cool Sci Fi Fantasy TV show picture... give me a sec.
Okay here's one.. I know Rico will get this one.
The Dresden Files
You got it Jen... your turn..
Oh... I think I'm tapped out for new shows. You guys have covered all the ones I know. Here's one of my favorite shows as a kid. See if you can guess it. I made it obscure as possible...
I loved this show as a kid... but I won't guess it... unless no one else gets it.
"ALF"
Yep.. it's ALF... I use to love that as a kid.
Not sure if this one has come up yet. Guess away....
I know this one as well.. I'll let someone else guess.
Okay nobody answered.. so I will.. it's Witchblade
I don't think we did this one yet...
mutant x?
you got it Rick
Ok... here you go.
Original Battlestar Galactica?
yep!
It's love, love, love, love! It's love, love, love, love....
:metallica:
Here is one I enjoyed when it was on
