Title: The Mist
Post by: space_invader64 on November 24, 2007, 07:57:09 PM
I saw the Mist and really enjoyed it.  Though it was horror, it was very scifi like when we see what is going on.  I really like these situations that Stephen King puts people in.  I was on the edge of my seat for most of the movie.  I don't want to give anything away; when I see a Stephen King film, I want to know nothing about it and just let it happen.

In most horror movies, we don't care enough about the character to not want them to die.  Stephen King has a way of making us like them and keep us rooting for them.

It is R rated and not for younger kids.

Any of you guys seen it or planning to?

I definitely want to see it though I will probably wait until it out on DVD.  I know that this is one of my favorite short stories by Stephen King.  Read it a long time ago and always thought it would make a cool movie....I hope I get proved right.
