Now that Thanksgiving is over and we start to gear up for the Holiday season I was wondering what everyones favorite "Classic" Christmas/Holiday Movie was. Let's say classic is pre 1970. I'm going to create another thread for Favorite "modern" Christmas/Holiday movie also.
I think my favorite classic movies that I have to watch every year would be.
White Christmas
It's a Wonderful Life
Miracle on 34th Street
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
How the Grinch Stole Christmas (1966)
Frosty the Snowman
A Christmas Carol (1951)
I like Frosty the Snowman, Charlie Browns Christmas and the 1951 Christmas Carol with Alastair Sim.
It's a Wonderful Life and the various Rankin-Bass cartoons are my favorites.
The different Christmas Carol productions are also fun. I'm partial to the 1970 Albert Finney musical version.
