The other thread about short lived TV series got me nostalgic for some older shows that I really miss. Let's post some video of some of our favorite series that we truly miss. Here are two for me:
Man From Atlantis:
(and yes, I used to have yellow swim trunks and swim that way)
The Magician
(loved this show and used to do magic shows for my family)
I remember both those shows. Especially Man from Atlantis. Cool show.
I did a lot of magic tricks as a kid too. I loved it. I got to see some big magic shows in Seattle. They were pretty amazing.
We have Andre Kohl coming to Aberdeen in a couple of weeks. Should be good.
Here are two that aired when I was a kid. Two of the few non-sci fi shows that I watched religiously
I never watched the first one, but our whole family watched the second one. Ba Ba Black Sheep.
Fun!
Wraith thanks for bringing back this thread. We must have similar tastes. Hill Street Blues and Baa Baa Black Sheep - two of my all time favorites!
This one was my favorite TV show when I was a kid, even though a couple of the episodes gave me nightmares.
I even had a die-cast model of the eagle. Wish they still made toys like that...
Ah, yes. Space: 1999. I did a podcast on that series and even reviewed an Eagle.
They still make the die cast Eagle's Wraith, but they are $ imports:

Here's a good place to buy Space: 1999 stuff. I'm not a fan of Monsters in Motion.

Good call, Rico, M in M are kinda pricey with poor service. I was just looking for the die cast eagles and new they had them.
Back on topic, I loved Ba Ba Black Sheep!

Thanks for the link, I didn't know this site existed. Pretty cool selection of stuff!

Yeah, that show was pretty cool.
Funny thing; I didn't realize until years later that the TV show was loosely based on actual people and events. The squadron still exists, only now they are based out of Arizona, and instead of Corsairs, the pilots fly Harriers.
When I grew up, used to watch both Hill Street Blues and Ba Ba Black sheep, my dad really liked them, so usually the whole family would watch since we only had one TV.
It's not that old, but I miss Dragnet with Ed O'Neill and Ethan Embry, along with the second-season version, LA Dragnet (sans Embry).
This was the best cop show I'd ever seen, but it only lasted two half-seasons.
To me, its cancellation was as much a crime against good TV as Fox's cancellation of Firefly.
The first half-season, Dragnet, was supposed to come out on DVD but got pulled at the last minute, around the same time LA Dragnet was cancelled. SleuthTV played the reruns of both versions for a little while, but my DVR crashed and I lost all the episodes. :(
Besides sci-fi? M.A.S.H., Cheers, Hill Street Blues (good one wraith1701)
two more!
WKRP in Cincinnati

(youtube doesn't have the intro :( )
A fun show with one of the best intro theme song and video collage
TAXI

In this case the end credits are more interesting than the "endless bridge" intro.
I've always liked jazzy Hammond B3 keyboards of Bob James funky theme.
Taxi and WKRP were great! I'd forgotten all about those.
Remember this one?
Ah the memories. I have so many favorite shows.

And I have to say, I really miss watching Devin Scillian do the news. I bet Rico has seen him do the news. Last year, I interend at the TV station he anchored at before he went to WDIV in Detroit.
Those bring back memories
