Rick,
I remember that show and I thought it was pretty hilarious! Too bad it didn't make it a little longer!
Kevin
I can't find it on DVD for the States. Bummer, it was pretty fun. Cheesey as I remember, but fun.
Rick,
I know nothing about this seller (he does get top ratings though) but for a lot of rare shows that have yet to be released on DVD (and probably will never see a release) I go to Sell.com. Here is a seller offering the entire series for $28.00 on 10 DVDs. Since there were only 24 episodes that means the shows won't be too compressed and probably have a decent picture quality. The seller lists them as a 10 quality, which is the best grade for recorded TV medium (other than official DVDs of course) Here is the link:

and Seaquest
Rick,
I don't think Seaquest fits your criteria of two seasons or less.
Kevin
you are right! I just remembered how bad season three was, it never aired here in WA.
Thanks!
:)
Strike Seaquest.
:shootgun:
I loved the lone gunmen. I thought that show really well done. I recomend everyone check out the dvd.
I should have thought of this short lived series yesterday! One of my favorites of all time only lasted two seasons....The Outer Limits!

That is so funny! I thought the same thing, but for some reason didn't realize it was only two seasons!
I love beyond belif: fact or fiction but I don't think that was so short lived.
How about the Robocop TV show?
Anyone remember MANTIS (Carl Lumbly of Alias) ?
What about the show from the 80's about a computer generated superhero ? Guy had blond hair. All I remember. Live action - ABC I think
I think that show was called "Automan." Kind of a TRON ripoff.

I use to watch M.A.N.T.I.S
Does anyone remember Otherworld from 1985??
I love this series.. it only aired eight episodes before it was cancelled but it was fun.
Here's another short lived series that I enjoyed.
The Powers of Matthew Star
Yes, Mantis was cool.
I think it had two years didn't it? Maybe only one.
Automan, that was cool too.

M.A.N.T.I.S ran on FOX Network between August 1994 and March 1995. Lasted only one season.
I liked his cool submarine. It was neat.
As I remember he was paralyzed until he put the Mantis suit on.
Pretty cool.
A great place for info on this stuff is www.tv.com or of course, www.imdb.com
How many seasons did War of the Worlds or OUt of this World have?

I thought there was another show with the same idea as Mantis. All I remember is they used a van for getting into the suit. Might have been just a movie.

There was a TV-movie called "Exo-Man" that was sort of like Mantis and like Iron Man too. Info here: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0076008/
That's it. Never, never, never piss off a scientist with oodles of money.
If you ask me this time next year, it will be the Sara Connor Cronicles. Looks interesting, but fox cans shows that arn't an instant hit.
Got to say I was disappointed when "Earth 2" was canceled after just the two seasons :-(
It's finally out on DVD
BTW - If anyone hasn't seen "Farscape" yet, it's like 10 pounds of fun in a 5 pound box. Highly recommended!
This is a old thread but i loved Brimstone. I've managed to get it on a DVD well a copy from a video and i loved this show. Such a shame it didn't last longer than one series.
Starlost
I enjoted Space Above and Beyond. I thought the characters were really well developed even if it was only for 1 year.
Well, a lot of people already said a few of these but
Surface
Threshold
Jericho
Jericho was a great show could have done a lot with that.
How about Maniamal came out same time as The Powers of Matthew Star.<object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/bVQoHc-KHf4&hl=en"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/bVQoHc-KHf4&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>
There was a power suit guy in the 90's called Super Force. And what about Street Hawk a Knight Rider type motor cycle.
I was just thinking about how there were even sci-fi shows targeted towards kids when I was growing up.
I couldn't get enough of Out of this World as a kid.

That show was awesome! I recently picked up the DVD set for $15, and all these years later, I still enjoy the show!
