Not that anyone but Brian and maybe Kenny would care much, but we just successfully installed Leopard onto my old clunky G4 (now upgraded with a superduper processor) and extra memory. :D
It's sooooo shiny. Coolest new OS feature is Timemachine, which allows you to search for and recover old files. I'm still playing around with it so I hope to discover all the neat new programs. Oh...and now I can use iTunes again. It stopped working on my old OS (OS 10.2.8 Jaguar). I'm so happy! :cheering
I think you are making Rico drool
I know you are making Harry drool.. I'm buying him that for Christmas for his iMac.
I played with it in the store. It didn't seem that much better. I do like the chat filters and widget maker.
I want an iMac. I want Leopard!
Rico, you would live an imac. I love mine. I don't ever want to be a windows pc owner again!
Eh, Mac ftl. I've found it to be a very uncomprimising system myself. but w/e

You've tried Leopard? ;)
I actually prefer Cheeta print.
:)
I would love to try out a mac sometime. Our youth pastor's wife has a mac laptop.
:D
A mac is like a flavor of icecream you either like it or you don't. I love it!
I'm looking forward to using Leopard too. I'd like to buy it pre-installed on a shiny new Mac Pro with Xeon Processors.
Adobe's CS3 software is more resource hungry than ever, but
the new "Photoshop Extended" is the cats meow!
We used Adobe exclusively at work. My boss upgraded to Adobe CS3 for her duel core G5... Her machine flies until she opens CS3. Photoshop CS3 a big Ap but she has added two more gigs of RAM (now has 4 in all). When she uses CS3 her duel core machine runs at the speed of our slower G5 Pentium computers. I've read several articles that say it's Adobe's issue.... something to do with the ap's ability to split info between the two processors. I hope Adobe fixes that issue soon—it's rather disappointing to buy a fast machine and find that the primary program you use is catywompus.
Would it be just easier to go back to the previous version of PS? Especially if it's that much of a resource hog?
There are features the new version has that she likes... so she's dealing.
