Hey all....I have a question for those with any working knowledge of computers.
I started a new job today and I wanted to download iTunes. I successfully DL'ed the .exe file but when I go to install it it gives me a error reading...."Invalid drive H:\" Now I think the computer is looking for an H: drive to install the program but my computer does not have one. MY question is........is there a way to change where my computer looks to install a program or has anyone had this problem and know a fix?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.......I cannot stand not having iTUnes to download my podcasts.
Never had that issue at all with iTunes. Did you download it on the PC you want to install it on?
Yes I did. Tried the straight download (allowing to simply run) and tried downloading the .exe then trying to run it on my own...both got the same result.
My first guess is that if this is some type of work PC they have some type of restriction built into it on what and where you can install things. Get to know the IT person and sweet talk them. ;)
Sounds like if you are downloading at work that the "H" drive is on the network and you will need to have a chat with your network admin guy...have to agree with Rico time to use a bit of charm
