Just finished watching the short lived a"FireFly" tv series and highly recommend it to anyone who loves smart sci-fi!

There are several threads for Firefly and Serenity.. it's one of the best sci fi TV series in recent history.. at least in my opinion.
My husband and I just bought the series too. We're slowly working our way through them. I just saw the episode with the Jane Hat. I never saw this show when it was on TV.
WE LOVE Firefly! I haven't seen a single episode that was stupid (unlike my other favorite shows). Stupid network...Why did they kill it?!
My friend Angela and I were talking about which characters paralleled us. She and I both think I'm Zoe (though my husband thinks I'm a combination of the non-crazy women on the ship). Dave and I both say Angela is Kalee...Hands down...Though she's not too sure. Her husband is Wash....absolutely to a "T". And my husband Dave is pretty much Mal.
Who are you?
I think I'm a cross between Simon and Kaylee... always helping people but enjoying life along the way.
Firefly is one of my all-time favorite shows; It's a shame that Fox didn't give it the love that it deserved. And Serenity was great... but I can't talk about it for fear of spoiling it. Jen and Davekil, you need to check it out!(Jen- you and your husband should wait until you finish the series, though.)

I think I'm 40% Mal and 40% Wash, with 20% Jayne kept securely under lock and key(usually).
Oh yes...we're going to see Serenity after we watch the rest of the series. Angela keeps insisting that we hurry up and finish them so we can watch the movie. But my husband Dave wants to savor them, there's so few and once you've seen them all for the first time—that's that.
I'm definitely Wash. I'm the funny guy and I'm a pilot.

Yup, yer right - just saw Serenity on the double edition collector's disc.
They really took it up a notch from the series - Wow!
a lot of good extras on the bonus disc too.
That series had potential, it could have gone for years. Man! a cowboy western sci-fi - who would have thought it could work so well!!

I had heard that one person would get it in the movie and was very surprised when it ended up being two.
Now that I've seen Serenity, I finally understand where Kenny's old "Mal avatar" and quote came from; "I aim to misbehave."

I was torn up for a week after I saw that scene.
Horrible! It was just horrible. I felt so bad for Zoe.
I miss that show. Damn Fox for moving the schedule around which eventually killed it!
