Okay ladies and gentlemen. Version 2.0 of the series bible is done. The actual work is far from done, but there is now enough information to be of some use to those involved in the story. It gives ship statistics, crew, and other general things that can help bring detail to your writing.
So if anyone wants a PDF copy I need your email address. Once I get them I'll send them unless someone has a place to store the file to allow everyone that wants it to DL it.
I have some web hosting I'm not using, send me the file and I can put it up.

I think the file is sent. Thank you!
Available here everyone (I need to get myself a new domain name)

Wow. You guys really went whole hog on that. Excellent job!
Very cool. I'm liking it!

There is still a long way to go. I am thinking about how to put together a bio for each character. Each previous season also needs a synopsis. I also have to C&P and reedit the stuff for the Aurora.
Then maybe an Index and Table of contents.
If you need help Just X, just send me a PM and I'll see what I can do.
Otherwise, good work so far!!

I love all the new crewmen that I had never heard of.. :)
LOL They are just names to fill in space! Actually, they can be transfered out at any time or picked up by new people or erased when new people arrive. We just tossed in some names so that people can refer to someone when they need an NPC interaction.
Very well done
Well I have to say is WELL DONE!! It does make things much easier to write about when you have a reference such at this. Congrats to all involved!!!

Hey folks, as a part of the next step in the bible I want to start putting in brief bios for all of the players.
IF you can all help by providing the following information, I can edit it.
Name:
Position
Physical Description:
Personality Profile:
Sort of like this
James, Aeric Lieutenant
Commander of Aero Group
Aeric is a two meter tall human-looking male with light brown skin. His eyes are a metalic gray in color due to his nanite enhancement. Aeric has short military styled black hair.
Aeric is somewhat distant in his dealing with most of the crew. It as close to a vulcan's detachment as one can get and not be vulcan. Aeric's distance is not due to a lack of emotions, but from him seeing so many of those he care for lost due to temporal changes. He has simply become jaded about getting attached to someone that could be lost in a blink. Currently he only seems close to his daughter Aria, but he still seems to have some care towards those he knew in those previous lives.
Great stuff. I really like the notes on Five Forward.
Got my domain back up and running, don't know if this will be easier to remember:

(The other link also still works)
Very impressive job! :)
And Just X, I'll try to PM you the character summary sometime today or tomorrow.
***EDIT***
Here you go-
Lt. K'Tan of the House Of Gal
Tactical Officer and relief Security Officer
K'Tan is a dark-skinned human male of medium height. his hair is worn in a style designed to pay homage to his Klingon upbringing- a neatly trimmed goatee, and a thick mane of black hair that is kept tied into a ponytail that extends to just below his shoulders. Numerous scars serve as testament to the many fights he has been involved in over the course of his life, the most noticeable being a vivid scar running down the left side of his face, bisecting his left eyebrow and ending at his jawline.
As a result of his life in the Klingon Empire, K'Tan has a somewhat brusque personality. He is curt and to-the-point in his dealings with others, a trait that is often perceived by non-Klingons as rudeness. K'Tan constantly struggles to overcome is his short temper- he is quick to anger, and easily irritated by those whom he considers weak or cowardly. But despite his harsh demeanor, K'Tan is fiercely loyal to the comrades who earn his respect. He would not hesitate to put his life on the line in the defense of a friend.
Okay folks, I have an updated version that contains more info and a better layout. I still need the bio excerpts, but I just put this version into PDF if anyone wants a copy. It adds a few details here and there and some new maps.
If you want to send it my way again I can put up the new version, or I can give you and FTP account.
If they're lucky artists (painters, sculptors, playrights) might have a loyal customer who promotes them and loans them money and buys their art...Billybob is like our benefactor! :D
Thanks for helping us out. You know you're welcome to join us at anytime. But if you don't we just want you to know we appreciate you as a reader and a benefactor. ;)
Just X, did you get the bio I sent you last week?
Yes I did and I think I included it. I'm pretty sure I included it.
I've never been much of a writer myself, for the moment I'll be glad to provide any assistance I can!
I've put up both versions (I find keeping a log of revisions available is fun!) and added a simple interface to make getting the files easier. Link below:

If we compile the previous seasons into PDFs or anything of the sort, I can host them as well.
Double post time, just had an idea. What if we took this bible and put it into a wiki? That way people could edit their character profiles and update things on the fly a little more. I can throw up an open-source wiki system and load in the content from the latest version of the bible. Then we can develop from there.
Just an idea that popped into my web developer head. God I love side projects!
Go for it. I think I need to find out who to credit for some of the text and we can't use some of the pics, but I think that we can even do it on the trek expanded universe wiki site because it's setup for fan trek stuff
http://stexpanded.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page
I don't know the first thing about doing wiki but if we put it there, I think we would get more hits to this site
I think that's a great idea billybob. :) It might also be easier for you Just X. . .
That's a great idea Bob...if it's your wiki, that way only certain people (RPG members) can alter the text. :)

I'll mess around with it this week. I found a few fairly straightforward wiki systems we could use. I also have room for 3 more domain names on my account (I get 5 domains included so it doesn't cost me anything). If anyone has any good ideas for a domain name (tiberius-wiki.com or something) let me know and I'll sntach it up. I can also make a subdomain (tiberiuswiki.foursevensix.net).
I have a free evening tonight so hopefully I can get something preliminary running.
If anyone has used any free, open source wikis, feel free to make suggestions! (PHP or ASP/ASP.NET and MySQL)
I got a vanilla version of mediawiki (smae framework wikipedia uses) up and running. I can start fiddling with some content tonight. If anyone wants to check it out so far you can go to www.foursevensix.net/wiki (http://www.foursevensix.net/wiki) and create an account.
Still a work in progress!
Awesome! Thanks. I created an account..But I've never edited a wiki. How do you create articles? And how should we organize them?
The easy wat to add a new article is to search for a term (say "Akira"). If it is not found, you will be given the option to create a new page. Then you'll get a text box in which you can type your descriptions. I'll see if I can find some more information tonight.
If anyone has time there's some good documentation on the mediawiki site which you can get to by clicking on the "powered by mediawiki" banner in the bottom corner. I'll also be fiddling with the layout sometime next week when I get back to my apartment and my desktop which has photoshop and such on it. I'm living out of my buddy's house and the office right now.
When it comes to organizing, I say we should just take JustX's PDF and make each heading into an article.
EDIT: I also need to enable file uploads so that we can upload images!
Thanks again for doing that!
Man; this is so cool!!! ;D
Thanks for setting this up, billybob476!
***leans back and cracks knuckles***
Time to get to work. I'm going to post an article re. Lt. K'Tan. :)
I made an article listing all the characters, I linked K'Tan's article to that one, if anyone else puts up their profile then link it there too! The cross linking is what will make the wiki really useful. I didn't get a chance tonight but tomorrow I will try and get the image uploads working.
I created some articles, you can see recent updates by clicking 'recent changes' on the left navigation.
I added Captain Quinn's bio from the character profile section and started articles on Akira class ships (search 'akira'), U.S.S. Tiberius and a few others. I also added a link to the help file on the mediawiki site to give folks a hand in learning how to use their mark up to format text.
Also the image upload is active. You just need to insert an image link with the editor and then save and click the link to upload the file.
This wiki is actually not shaping up that badly so far.
