Greetings All!
I'm reviewing the Seattle Symphony "Sci-Fi Favorites" performance next week for STARTREK.COM and was able to do a phone interview with George Takei this afternoon. George will be in Seattle narrating the performances. After discussing the symphony, we talked about Heroes! He is very excited about the season and says that we will be "blown away by the first episode of the second season" when we see Hiro in 17th century Japan. He wouldn't answer my questions about him being one of the Samurai Warriors on horseback. LOL! As one might expect, his character doesn't have any scenes with Nichelle Nichol's character. We also talked about the fact that he had to audition for Heroes because they wanted to make sure he could really speak Japanese! They sent him the script in English and had him translate it for the audition! It's a good thing that some of his fans had turned him on to the show and that he was watching it regularly or who knows if he would have thought it worth his time and effort! We also talked a bit about Equus and the Japanese-American Internment. It was a very interesting call!

How are things with you?
Well, I submitted my review to startrek.com last night, so hopefully it will be posted soon. I'm NOT including this photo in my article!!!!! I had to share it here, because it really makes me laugh!! I could not regulate my body temp all night, so I'm really flushed and having a bad hair day. I can't get rid of my red eye in the photo, but I still had to post it...okay, let the captions begin!! :lol2
